What is the workaround other than logging out and in (for the vendor bug). I just reported it as I was tired of getting it.
You talking about the bug that won;t let you buy anything? Sell something to the vendor then you should be able to purchase from them.
Even easier... just switch to the sell tab and back to the buy tab.

PS. I really hope they fix this soon, it's a annoying little retarded bug that they really need to fix, along with the ladders which it seems they are doing something about.
At least that has a work around that is quick. How about the AH bug:
You bid, get out bid, then if you try to bid from the "Bids" tab - you get the money deducted, but your bid isn't entered! You have to go to the "Auction" tab and then manually find the item [may be on page 11 of 15!] in order to raise your bid.
Roll Play – eh? Very poorly implemented due to lack of /emotes. Star Wars Galaxies did it right and if DDO had a sliver of the emotes from SWG it would give more players a casual approach to roll-playing without having to talk in silly voices that we’re embarrassed to use around friends and family. DDO suffers from the virtual absence of emotes, gestures and animations which would apply to character based roll-playing while enhancing the environment to make it feel more expansive. Dammit, we can’t even sit at a bar stool or table within the Inns = lame!
I think DDO supports ROLL playing quite well, with the die on the side of the screen. If however you mean Role Play, well then, since most people don't know what it is or how to spell it, I don't see many games supporting this game mechanic in the future. Even if MMOs came from MMORPGs, as in Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games.

An friend of a friend of mine who started replaying said the graphics are better today than at release. I know he recently got a much better computer so I think what he is seeing is a different in machine and settings. Then again, perhaps something has been added in the mix of new stuff. Does anyone know if it is true?
Is Stormreach a little less instanced that in alpha/beta (last time I played)? Been coming back to this.

They did do an engine upgrade at one point but it has always had great graphics. The difference between low settings and high settings is HUGE though.

Promote what you love instead of bashing what you hate.
Go to the "Sell" tab
Move an item below by double clicking on it. You do not need to actually sell anything... just moving it to the sell area below is enough.
Go back to the buy tab. Proceed as normal. Voila.. problem solved.
Yeah it's annoying but thankfully only appears to occur at all frequently on bartenders.
