First off, if you read my post, I'm not defending myself. So no where in it does it seem like "my feelings" are hurt. If you noticed, I avoided directing what I said towards you. Since I was aware of your ranting and didn't really care for it. So why would I waste time trying to justify anything to you? I also don't see how you could possibly imagine to have offended ME. Since nothing you said insulted my hobbies. Which also makes me wonder about the rest of your post. Or for that matter, where on earth did anyone anywhere tease me about my likes or beliefs? I also don't see how it would be considered immature to applaud someone for their likes and tell them to ignore anyone telling them otherwise, how is THAT immature? In real life, I have a thing for knives. I am pretty well handled with one, too. I also have a Katana with a wakazashi hanging propped up over my TV. My whole family has a thing for swords/knives. My favorite is my Katana I told you about. It is heavily detailed and I just recently had it cleaned and sharpened. It has a Feudal Japan esque dragon and design to it. My second favorite is my butterly knife which I recently "misplaced" at my friend's house.
A blade that resembles mine.

my favorite weapon is the 2h sword, b/c of damage and asthetic purposes. but anpther thing to consider aout having a 2h sword is that if the weapon system is like diablo II, there will be some sockets, and you could put more orbs into a weapon with more sockets. asthetically there are more designs possible on a 2h sword (hope i get one with a frostmourne design) plus if there are any lighting effects, it will show up better with more room.
while a 2h sword is my fav weapon type, my favorite weapopn for applications is the dagger. my favorite class is a rouge, and rouges can do the collest stuff with a dagger, like back stabbing or ambushing and such. unfortunately though, all the weapon designs ive seen in WoW for the dagger look absolutely sucky, but i haven't checked out dagger pics in a long time.
finally the reason i picked out the bow as my favorite ranged weapon type was because it was silent. now i don't know if the battle system will be like this, im not in beta, but if you get hit by an arrow that you don't know is even coming, or get warned by the loud bang of a blunder buss rifle, which do you think will be harder to find and retaliate? the gun, no question.

I might go with a katana if I can find one that looks cool and still has good stats. I am not that huge of a fan of two handed swords because I like daggers and I like dual weilding with any weapon possible. If I do find a katana, however, I am hoping it is two handed for more of a samurai esque look to it like I beleive the katana is meant to have. That's just me, though.

Yours actually does look better than mine. And mine came as a set of two. We bought it while we were living in Japan. I was like just a new born so I don't remember much but what I do remember was great. Anyway, it was a pain in the arse trying to get it back to the states. No, I am not Asian in any way shape or form. I am mixed with black and white. My parents were stationed in Japan for the Air Force when I was born.

To the person who owns the scimitar, I'm curious what style it is, got any pics? I'm in love with scimitars, but I'm very very VERY picky when it comes to the shape of the blade.
Also, what's everyone favorite type of dagger? Personaly I prefer the Sword Breaker Dagger, can provide pics if anyone hasn't seen it.

Well if you are talking about WOW they do have a 2h katana sword, correct me if im wrong but i belive the rune sword is a 2h katana.
