I voted no. I will not be taking any time of work. I tend to start a new MMO a few days after release. I like to let the hordes pass through the newbie areas first, gives me a bit of breathing space and a lot less competition for mobs etc.
I know that most of you will be doing the same. My wife and I have each scheduled a week off for the launch date (and plan on pushing this back if anything changes or, shall i say gets pushed back).
So out of curiosity::::

and?? people dont always use vacation time to go on a vacation to Hawaii....some people use that time to catch up on life and releax or do hobbies...maybe golf, artwork, camping, stamp collecting etc...and just like those another hobby happens to be videogames...so my time isnt wasted if i pick to sun bathe in hawaii, read a book in front of a fire, or cut off peoples heads in age of conan.....people like to spend their FREE time in different ways
Most MMOs come out of the gate needing polishing and unseen bugs fixed. I pre-ordered, but I wont take time off. I expect to have a few frustrations the first few weeks, but it should still be fun.

Well at that time im making by 4th semester project, (computer science), so i think it would be a pretty bad idea to take that week off.
My GPA when i was in college went down from a 3.71 to a 2.2 when EQ SoL came out...... I think when i looked in the mirror and swore that Golem was looking back, i cut back on EQ and Gaming in general.
LOL my Geology GPA when i graduated was 3.1 (so i brought it up)....lmao
