No doubt, some people will go back.  Expectations are very, very high for AoC, and you will never please everyone. Some people will prefer the simple life that WoW and LOTRO provide. Game-hopping (and beta hopping) has become part of out MMO culture.

That's OK. AoC does not have to destory WoW or LOTRO to succeed.

If you enjoy it, play it. If not, go find something else. Myself, I already know that WoW (11 months played from release) and LOTRO (late beta) have lost me. The OP seems to have different tastes.

Beta testers didnt like the combat rose and that was removed with a more simplified combo system that didnt require you to look at some kind of rose but the actual action.

trust me the combat rose aint the only thing people are complaining about and you know what im talking about if you are in my position.

Probably the people who are complaining aren't the ones in General Beta, but are noobs who are in the Technical Beta who don't know what a Technical Beta is.
