Ok, so you're saying stealth hasn't worked in LOTRO, EQ2, WOW, EQ, UO, DAoC, DDO, EVE, or Vanguard?

I have not heard of any game that hasn't had problems like the examples below.

Player 1: Okay people we've almost cleared these mobs.   Get ready to get the boss/chest/quest item.

Player 2:  We can't.  A couple of Stealthers just snuck past all the mobs while we fighting and got them first.

    Or even better.

Group: Why are we just waiting around here?

Group: The Stealthers have left us behind and we're sitting here while they wander around and get in position.

Group: EVERY single time with EVERY single mob encounter?

    Group: Yup.

    Group: Dandy.

Now if some of those games on the list have solutions to those, I'd be interested in hearing how they dealt with them. CoX had a partial solution and  Age of Conan may have found their own solution.   *Every* class in that game is able to stealth, so that means the group can stay together, which is the POINT to grouping.  Rather than waiting around while stealthers waste eveyrone's elses time.    And I'm not even mentioning game-specific examples of problems, like WoW's recent problem with stealthers pulling bosses out of dungeons.

We don't know how Mythic is handling stealth to balance it in PvP but as others have said, PvE has it's own issues with stealth too.    Just one more thing Mythic will hopefully consider while beta testing their WAR version of steatlh.
