Hope Darkfall will not become such crap like WoW. Its better nevr to be released than that.
Where themepark games try to hide that they are copying WOW, games like Mortal Online and Darkfall make no attempt to hide their inspiration

There's a pic of 15 of the devs in one pic at some kind of convention, and a whole bunch of other pics of various devs at work or whatever.You may have to wait for someone to upload the pics from Wonderbricks compiled Darkfall related media zip though.

I think DFO qualifies to be listed under the rules that MMORPG.com set.
Your personal stance on the matter does not over-rank the set standards for listing. If it did, we'd have no games because all games have people who would believe it doesn't belong. The point is that Darkfall has done nothing to warrant removal other then delay a few times... a fate with A) Many MMOs share,
MMOs that don't share that probably SHOULD.
How about that? I came to DarkFall's defense on something.
NOTE: I still stand by my stance that everything shown to date could have been done as a Technology Demo using a non-MMO Engine. However, most MMOs have done that at some point.

Just be certain you do some research before beeing so certain that a game is not even beeing developed...

It's called credibility. I'd apperciate it if the site that I count on for my MMO news wasn't so gullble. Now, I can only take what I read from this site with a grain of salt, because of games like Darkfall, Mourning, D&L, and other games that MMORPG.COM has run through the mega-hype machine.
I agree, this game could be an investment scam. It’s happened before, it happened with the Phantom Gaming console (and they had the balls to call it phantom too, I love that). The phantom guy made off with about 20 mil from investors.
There is no proof whatsoever that Darkfall is being made.
I suggest we all just ignore it and forget about until they can prove this game is being made.
Scam or not, following DF amuses me, and I think I'll continue to do so.

Agreed. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the Darkfall forums are for humor value only.
Whats to discuss? As for 'community' its starting to look distinctly <bleh> as time marches on. Compare the official forums now to when they opened.
I rekon they should sell a pre release peek, call it Settlers of Darkfall (SoD) and give pioneers a pioneer rocket launcher on release
I have high hopes for DFO but don't expect that many to be fulfilled. Shame spellborn has been pushed back. I figured that might waste a few months

I wish we could take all fanboy groups who alliege themselves to one unreleased game or another in one place and let them fight themselves out of existence. It's so dumb to be so one sided over an unproven game. Don't listen to any of them.

I think mmorpg.com has a responsibility here! I fact I mentioned the same thing a couple of days ago.
I think Darkfall is hurting the industry!
They refuse to show anything, their studio is illusive, their updates lacking of real meat, the game doesn't move forward..
Please remove it asap!

Maybe if some Bigger sites stop publicizing this game, The developers will get off their arses and prove they have something.
If it gets removed with no response from the developers, i think everyone gets their answer.
This is all a sham until they produce somethign more than a screenshot ( or a crappy in game demo) which any 15 year old in a basement could make.

I'm guessing that last video isn't considered proving anything except the fact that they have a game world but of course thats not important is it?
