If I were to play, I would say a guild of at least a consistent core group (about five to ten) which we could do just about all of it, but mainly RP and PVP (possibly being RP in the PVP with respect to only aiding certain racial [in-game races] guilds and factions).
I will use a new guild named: the trash bin kin Because that's where Conan will be in about 6 weeks time... Trying to make a MMORPG with only preloaded zones, what were they thinking? Now I am very curious how they will implement "open world" PVP sieges with such a system. Hey guys at FunCOM... you can't have preloaded player graphics in seamless worlds !!! Jesus I thought I had seen everyhting in MMO land, but this beats everyhting. The fact that Funcom even admits this on these official webpages is ... just incredible.

Okey friedns Zorndorf and Demz2... here is the mean and ugly truth:
A CPU is able to have a certain amount of cycles. A GPU is able to have a certain amount of cycles. A harddrive is able to read a certain amount of bytes.
All those components exchange date over a bundle of wires. This is called the bus.
If you want to have streaming content you cant have more data then the bus can handle. This lead to two basic decissions.
1) Have just as much graphics as a bus can handle. The boundary is called bandwidth. Exactly as you broadband a PC bus has a bandwidth. If you watch online pr0n your bandwidth is either good enough or not. If not it will stutter and lag.
2) Have high detailed graphics. This means you have more data then the bus can handle and therefor you have to preload them. Its the same as downloading the pr0n instead watching the streamed movie.
Neither is good or bad. WoW did a good job with their low bandwidth design and AoC seems to do a good job with their high bandwidth design. Just two different approaches to deal with hardware boundaries.
Well, no all of us can be technicans or system admins or programmers. But only Jesus can offer you salvation indeed if you dont STFU while knowing yourself you dont have any clue. Right ?
I love the 48 ppl limit on each side in keep fights, that should make is possible for guilds who are not 300 ppl but maybe 60-70 to hold their keep pretty well even against strong guilds.

hmm, i am rethinking the guild thing a bit. Perhaps should go for a small guild.
Me and the wife prolly going for a small guild. We gonna go guardian / PoM and hoping to be into guilds as a good base for a group / raiding.
Wonder if a tank specced guardian can run solo.. Should be able to if I manage to make a name for myself as a, hopefully!
