Good news for everyone who didn't win a key. Fileplanet is giving keys to every member now , paid or not.

    I was thinking the same thing, especialy since im one of the people who paid for fileplanet.  I am actualy kind of mad, if i knew they would do this just a few days later after OB released I would have waited.  but on the bright side i didnt have to go through how much busy the servers are going to get now since anyone can get in now.

    Now...think about the download..

    Capped at 100k I think ...and the queues will be horrendously long...

    I get "timeout". Site can't give me my beta key.

    Edit: now works.

    If you paid for a fileplanet subscription simply to get into AOC beta, then you wasted your money and should only be mad at yourself.  Fileplanet is about a lot more than one beta :D  Also, if you subscribed to fileplanet and are now getting a key.. you dont have to wait the45 minutes or so that the non-subscriber queue is at right now, and get instant download access instead.  Hm. Perhaps I should resubscribe to it come to think of it.

     

    Besides, chances are WAR will do fileplanet too, since that's pretty much the standard way they all do it

     (the timeout bug i got too, its good now, key gotten)

    ahh but according to the fanbois we paid for the beta, there was a need for it, and it was only $5 a month so if you didn't get it , because you couldnt afford $5 you must be homeless. Now, they are offering it for free. So basically you spent money for nothing, cause people were belittling you about not wanting to spend the money.

    Awesome! I got my key easy. I got the error aswell. deleted the cookies and now i got it~

     

    Finally i can try the game and judge it myself.

    hey xD Well, i tried to fix it for a friend. Seems im stuck with what i got so i can't make new accounts for an unique key :/ But yeah, i took IE and killed my cookies. Worked like a charm o.o

    If its over, they woulda taken down the front marquee. But it's still up. Theyre normally good about that. So im hoping keys exist still....

    Well, the first page DOES say a very limited number of keys. I suppose it shouldn't surprise me that I was too late.

    If it's true that they ran out of free keys then i'm extreamly greatful that I got mine in time. I've been waiting to try this game for quite some time.

    Limited number of keys + obvious server problems (meaning tons of people are trying to get them) = no more keys for us.

    It's simple math guys :P.

    Your best chance is to just keep reloading the page. I'm sure there are many people trying to download the client right now.
