The reason I was givin 3, was because there were 3 of us involved in the project that won us the accounts.
Installing right now, we'll all be logging on at the same time, and havin' some champagne. Ahh what a good night. We'll be on TS (Team Speak), if anyone has any questions or what not. You can also talk to us on our guild forums, www.silentreign.net I should still frequent these boards... Though, everyone else who's gotten into beta, seems to stop posting entirely on these forums. Hopefuly that won't be the case with me, I'm proud of my "Elite" member status ------------------------------------------------------------------------------With every post I lose just a little bit more of my sanity. Go Dracius, I too should have an account or two very soon. But in the meen while tell me how your adventures are going .
Been working every night the past month, today I finaly got a day off, so I stayed up a little later last night to reach lvl 14, and catch the ingame sunrise.
Got to go on my first windrider ride as well, also found my first bug. =D
Saw the coolest thing... When the shamans are in spirit wolf form, there's a unique /dance emote that they do, and it is fricking awesome!
Lvling started slowing about the time we got to the Barrens. It's like everyone says, lots of collection quests, lots of traveling. There's so many quests there though, we leave to head north of the X-roads and we have like 3 quests for that one area, and 3 quests for NE of it and 3 quests for SE of it. So you basicaly go out and get several quests done at the same time, go back to down and collect all the cash and xp at once. So it's not that bad, as a warrior though I'm having some issues with some of the quests, because the mobs I need to clear are in large groups and I don't have a way to pull at range yet. 50sp is the cheapest ranged weapon I can get (throwing). To give you an idea how many SP's you get, at 14 I've earned about 70. You get them from killing mobs and not from leveling.
I also died for the first time last night. I blame my brother for that though. Heh. Was suppose to be healing, but he ran off while I was fighting, didn't realize he left until it was too late. Then I died like 5 times later that night in short succession, I figured it was just cause I was trying to do some parts to fast for being solo. Later on things smoothed out a bit and xping went steadiliy again. The quests are starting to get more involved, with more plot put into them. So as you start to get tired of the quest routine they keep changing em up so you're seeing new things and fighting things you havn't fought yet, and there's little events that happen in game when you complete or get to the end of some of the quests.
Far from bored on it yet, all 3 of us are heavily addicted, I've already taken most of the world in, but there's still little things I notice as I go around that just make the game so much nicer.
I got my first gripe though.. Trolls need a better dance. Blargh, NE males/females, Human-males Orc-Males, Undead-males all have complex long dances, trolls just do round kicks, blargh! Oh yeah, gnomes have a nice dance too, little bastards. Least my voice emotes are nice "Light em up!"

Very Congrats man, although i must admit i am pretty jealous, but then again, who isn't? But three keys? That is pretty insane. If i get a few keys which i very much doubt i'd give them to some guild members. But, i'll be lucky if i even get to share an account with someone else, and there's like no one that would let me use their account, guess i'm a loner. But once again, congrats
WoW is everything it's been hyped up to be, and so much more. My ONLY gripe right now is that all of the characters except for warrior and mage are exactly the same... Warrior and mage are the ones that have access to talents right now.
Sometimes I get a diablo 2 feel, but without the repetitive nature.
All in all, of all the mmo's I've played since UO, I must admit, this is the most fun I've ever had playing one.
Nylian
14 Shaman, and climbing.

Yeah, Nylian is playing a shaman, and I'm a warrior(one of the two classes with talents)
Next patch Priests and Rogues get talents.
The way the talents work is you get 3 tabs of talents(sorta like Diablo), and to unlock the better talents on each tab you need to invest points into the lower one. IE for the warrior to use the rank 2 talents (the 2nd row of talents below the top one) I needed to spend 5 points total on any talents on that tab. Once the second one was unlocked, I needed 10 to unlocked the 3rd, but now I had 2 rows of talents to put points into until I had spent 10 points on that talent tab. There's also some talents that require you to have a specific talent before that (like diablo 2) to unlock them. All in all, it's done pretty well, and it forces you to place points into the low level talents, so that you don't just save up all yer talent points for the high level ones on each tab.
Beyond that, as a warrior there's not just the 3 tabs to diferentiate 1 warrior from another warrior. There's also your weapon. There's 4 types of 1h weapon + shield combos. Then there's dual wielding at lvl 20, so you could have a mace in one hand a sword in another, so lots of combo's there. Then there's 2h weapons. Spears, and hand to hand weapons (can't remember if my warrior can use those... My bro's druid can however).
Because all those skills raise based on how much you use them, I could use a sword or an axe, but if I've used an axe all the time, I'd hit with it a lot more than someone who just started using an axe. Potentialy however, if someone has a the time, and I mean a lot of time, they could master every weapon skill by using each weapon type until it reached it's skill cap (which is determined by your level). This wouldn't really make them more powerful than any other warrior, it would just mean they'd have more options as to what gear they could use effectly. Which I think is a nice reward for those capped level veterine players who wanted some way to spend their time.
Then there's abilities and spells. Those you buy from your trainer each level, don't cost you any skill points, or anything, just money. As a warrior I get things like a snare, taunts, shield bash, AE DD with atk spd debuff and the like. As a druid my bro gets HoT's DoT's and a DD, along with shape shifting forms, and dif abilities in those forms.
Without the talents however, classes like the shaman (which Nylian plays) are just like the other shamans if they're using the same weapon. Gear is really the only thing setting them apart. Soon as talents come into play, there'll be 3 basic types, depending on what talent sets they start off with. You're also free to place them in all 3 tabs, and it takes 30 talent points in 1 of the tabs to unlock all of it's talents, since there's 60 levels, thus 50 talent points, you will likely put points into at least 2 of the tabs.
Oh, also as you fight mobs you'll gain Skill points (of which you can potentialy gain an infinate # of) you use these skill points to buy other skills, like leather working, skinning, tailor etc. As well as the riding skill. Then once you have those skills, you have to use them to raise them, and most of them have 3 dif levels, that require you to spend more skill points in to raise the skill cap (how high you can raise the skill).
Hope that's a nice tutorial of the game's class development. If not, let me know and I'll rework it.

What I really love about the shaman class, and I'm not sure about the warrior one (mine is only lvl 10), is that there are SO many different ways to use the character. I use totems nearly every battle, and yet I play with other shaman that don't use them at all, and prefer to save their mana for nukes. Just little things like that.
Also, in regards to your class development Drac, I don't think 50talent points is enough to fully fill 1 talent page.. So you would even find people with different routes through the same talent page.
The graphics, the music, the sounds, the fluid animations, the awesome views... Sometimes I forget I'm in beta.

Well I don't plan to put more than 33 points into my Arms talent tree. Reason being, there's a sword talent I couldn't get use outa, a mace talent I couldn't get use outa, and some that wouldn't work good with my character pallet. So I'd rather put the points towards the fury talents. Some of the talents you can only put 1 or 2 points in. So among the dif paths in the trees ppl will take, there's also going to be a spreading of points into the lower talents on the other tabs. As I was sayin' last night, wanna get the talents from the fury tree that increase my chance to crit. That which my talents from the Arms tree that increase my chance to crit, and the talent that gives my crits the ability to cause serious bleed damage = fun =D.

I envy you so much. But I am going to ask you a favor anyway. When ever they do release the Talents for the Rogues, could you check those out for me? You don't have to like play the Rogue or anything, I was just curious if you could create a new Rogue then just open up the Talent window and tell me what all they get and what all what they get does. Sound confusing? Sorry if it does and thank you if you can do that for me.
But no matter what you do, I will still be the same old jealous guy. Hah hah hah, just kidding.

Just started a rogue, Got it to lvl 8 in a few hours of play.
Learned this new combat 'style' that works great.... all it does is 'stun' (they call it disorient) the target for 4 secs... but it's plenty of time to hop around the backside for a backstab...Nice now I don't have to worry about getting backstab in, can just combo it in.
At one point, when doing a quest... killing some skanky humans I found myself a bit too close to the boss-mob... he rushed in, so now I'm fighting two footman lookin' dudes with 1/2 health. I throw a net on one of em (that I had received from a quest) back up a bit, pop a potion and finish off the boss-mob with the stunning backstab combo... hop around the backside of the snared mob to finish 'im off. Unfortunatly, I got jumped AGAIN, so, just smacked him with the 4 sec stun, and ran the the little girl I am. -- Just something to give you an idea of the fun you'll have.
Apparently Eviscerate (the 'finishing' move) is kinda broken... doing crap for damage. How it's supposed to work is:
You build up points each time you either backstab, or strike (a skill). When you've built up 5 (or less depending on what you want) you can do the finishing move to expend the points and do uber damage.
And yea, totally looking forward to hunter
If there is a way...I'll find it.
--------- If there is a way...I'll find it. ---------
Yeah rogue definatly sounds like a fun class to play. And after seeing the rogue videos Im definatly going to play a rogue first instead of warrior. Stealth/Backstabs/Stun combos are freaking awesome. Plus as you said there are some skills that allow you to get the hell out of tight situations fast... Vanish/Sprint or Gouge/Stealth. Now if they just fix eviscerate and the stealth bug and add nice talents the rogue class will be complete.
