Taking me pretty much forever to get in, my launcher is tuck dl'ing like 600 mb no AOC for me tonight. I guess I'll just leave my computer on all night and while I'm at work.
The reason it's going to have a smooth launch is because they opened the servers early. If you didn't notice, the servers have been down constantly for like two days. Plus, everything in AOC is instanced. Guild Wars, and LOTRO both had smooth launches.
You sir are talking out of your crap hole. The game has been down 2-3 times for a few hours at a time. They've had some issues with the launcher not getting past downloading patch info for a few but that's resolved now. I've crashed alot but that's cause I was running without Vista Service pack 1 I believe.
About the whole game being instanced? Wrong. Tortage is yes, but that's cause it wouldn't be much fun to stand in a line for 2-3 hours to wait on your turn to kill a crocodile.. After Tortage there is very little instancing, I'd say it is on par with Everquest 2.

The game is running fine on a friends pc(same friend who had lots of problem in OB) and he( me too) is quite happy.I'll wait one more week to see how the servers handle the mass population who will flood in the game before deciding to purchase it.

Seems smooth but nothing new at all i really wasted my money on this. The core mechanics are just plain boring.
