Been playing Lord of the Rings online since release and I absolutley love it.
Has an awesome main story line that really ties in the lore of the world and is just awesome! The envirements are awesome, simple some of the best I have ever seen. The art design is amazing and is my favorite out of all mmos out. Classes are pretty good but it's probably one of my only problems with the game. Only 7 classes but they cover all aspects of the holy trinity. Still I love my burglar but its hard to make an alt when you don't like all the other classes:/
Thank god they are adding 2 new classes in the expansion!!
The variety in the game rocks you can craft, decorate your house and just a lot of other things.
4/5 years ago before official launch of World of Warcraft, was very excited with it. Knowing the rate of monthly subscription rate, turns me off...I was still a student.
Till now, I am earning a decent income and finally can afford with the subscription fee
I was playing Tabula Rasa until rescently. Basically, I was hooked on base defense... some of the most intense battles Ive ever seen in ANY game and still kept it fun. Kinda brought back the feeling of old-school PlanetSide for a while.
But Im done with it for now. Im finding myself playing PSU:AotI.
Just due to price, I say try PSU first.... the expansion doesnt need the original (although they are each $20, and for the sake of the single player part, Id say grab both... just register to play the expansion online) and the online is $10 a month... $10 for the first 1.5 months).... well so long as you have a good controller for your PC. This game DOESNT work so well on a keyboard/mouse.
guild wars because i got tired of wow and got a 15$ deal for Prophecies.

I recently bought a 360 receiver for my PC. Normally 20 bucks, bought it for five, so I can use the 360 controller for PSU. But then, I also have the drivers for my PS3 Sixaxis controllers, but that doesn't work as well as the 360 one does. So I do have a good controller.
I played the trial on my 360. It was entertaining but I can't see it holding my attention for very long (gameplay is basically switching through the pallete and hitting one/two buttons to attack) and the missions seem repetitive and similar. The content updates don't seem very big or often either... But it is only 10 a month.

Still playing WoW but mainly as a holding pattern until WAR comes out. Thought about AoC but for some reason it just doesn't appeal to me, maybe it's the background. Started playing D2 again the other day with some MOD's. Forgot how much fun that is. Getting ready to leave EVE again, it just never seems to hold my interest for some, unexplainable reason.
What I really want is a kick-butt WH40K or Star Wars game... where you can do it all.
LOTRO - lifetime member since launch, now playing for free!! My wife and I play it for the lore and story. We play at a very relaxed pace.
WoW - only play it because many RL friends play it. Would cancel if they quit playing. Nothing in the game itself that is compelling me to play other than friends.
AoC - Meh. Doesn't suck, doesn't rock. Won't make it beyond the 30 day retail.
Technically I still play WoW, but its more logging in and using it as a chat room for my guild than anything. I do a few dailies on my characters level an alt. Think in the last 2 weeks I have probably played like 4 hours of it lol
I am waiting for TCOS or Jumpgate evolution at the moment. Also would like to try mythos no idea why since clicking non stop sounds annoying as hell, but for some reason it also sounds like an addictive game. And its free so does not give me a headache if I buy it and it turns out to be crap
Someone actually wants to make interesting solo content at the beginning and wants to take combat beyond an auto attack fest. (DDO had nice combat but lacked the solo content)
Also I grow weary of the high fantasy "gather around for a group hug elves, dwarves, and humans" scenario. Nah for now I'd rather some low fantasy and explore more gray areas instead.
Did quit playing mmorpg´s at the beginning of the year since really nothing new what i like is around and waiting for warhammer, i only did test requiem this week so far for a couple of days.
City of Heroes/Villians - long time player since beta, I'll go in bursts but keeping my account active. I love the customization and grouping with my SG.
WoW - Played beta, but pulled in by friends who also play. On both PvP and PvE servers
Guild Wars - Another late beta I was in that I've returned. Playing with all expansions. I'll usually hop on and run a few areas to progress the story arc and I love the music
Anarchy Online - recently picked up this game. I'm a froob. Hooking up usually with a friend who has been a longtime player.
So 2 I'm paying for and 2 that are free.
your arguement is so persuasive, so filled with knowledge and insight. You back up your argument very articulately, with suggestions of improvements and raising examples to glorify your position....oh wait, you didn't
I try WOW and RF online.. and its quite very serious so I try to find another game witch cute and exciting and I just found this game.... NeoSteam I can say that I can compare this to the combination of WOW and Rf online...

I'm thinking about playing either PSU:AoTI or Vanguard.

No one else?
WOW is still my main game.
Dabble in LOTR a bit.
Try Tabula Rasa and hated it.
Try COH/COV and do not like it.
Thinking of trying AOC.
Right now I'm playing 3 games (an all time high for me)
EVE Online - only semi-seriously atm, not involved in any major corporation or fleet activity, look to return in the fall.
AOC - Well, because its new, and might be fun. Hasn't quite grabbed me though, but is entertaining enough for the summer I think,
WAR beta- Because they let me in.
Think I'm set for the summer, but I'm keeping an eye on AION and TCOS.
