Now this is the retarded part of the game. Once you have someone that is 80 in your guild. The FASTEST way to level is simply by apprenticeship. Since you still get the same xp as the 80 does in a group as a lvl 30, and the necessary cumulative xp to lvl is smaller at lvl 30, you will be dinging left and right.
@when i read that i guess lots of higher lvls will be seen soon without cheating

The people who say they are leaving after the thirty days say all the good about the game and the reasons they are leaving. Be it instancing or whatever.
When it comes to the good things or maybe newish things about the game fans say the same things as those who are leaving. Great graphics, combat system... that's it. Aside from that all I hear is 400000 copies sold. I could care less about numbers...give me the real story .
I guess this would be a question to the fans. What else about it do you like. The haters have all agreed with you on the good...what else is there that keeps you going? What is that special thing in the game that makes you say ... I want to go check this out today. I have heard nothing from anybody...and I am somebody who plans to give it a go, just waiting for traders and sieges to be implemented.
you mean the people that are 80 exploited to 80 ...... reason I posted all those exploits on another post so they can get reported and get fixed... and the AOC Cheat and AOC Buddy Cheats have been fixed also so the number of lev 80s should be going down soon also nothing worse than people exploiting to get to the top just as bad as this one player in SWG where he killed his alt to get GCW points and rack up his 30k in kills.... one word ......pathetic.....

The other side states that its a design that's never been implemented and the shield blocking defense is a breakthrough in MMO combat. Other complain that their graphics causes their FPS to drop and some have valid complaints while others have very supbar PCs that causes this. I guess this would be a question to the fans. No need to get upset about anything (maybe you're not, and I'm just taking your post the wrong way). The first thing you should realize when posting on these forums, or any debatable or opinionated forum really, is that somebody will likely have something negative to say about it. You put your thoughts out there for everyone to read and you got some feedback. Who cares if someone doesn't agree with you or doesn't like your view. Debating and discussing topics are the main reason to have these forums. Don't take people, or yourself for that matter, so seriously.
That said, your post was well taken, but I disagree with some things. Particularly the bugs issue. Yes, there are some bugs, but for a mmorpg, thats to be expected at launch. Hell, there are games that have been out for years that have lots of bugs. Also, I've yet to find a bug that breaks the game for me. Frustrating to a point? Yes. But, not game breaking.
This game has been great for me so far and it will only get better as they fix the issues.
Exploiting to get to 80 so fast would take away a lot of the enjoyment. Somebody famous once said, "Shortcuts, the quicker paths to a destination, often result in unsatisfactory success". I can't remember who said it, but I found that fitting after reading that the OP has 2 lvl 80s and now wants to leave the game. It's pretty ironic.

What ever that mentoring system apprentice system is, if at any level you got the same xp as the higher level toon, then by golly they were no way in hell exploiting. That is just a flaw in the game design.
This could easily be coupled with EQ2 or CoX mentor/Sidekick system. Now in both of those if someone mentors or sidekicks they do NOT get the full xp of the higher level killing the higher level mobs. That is a mistake Funcom made and people that used it can not be punished because they were not exploiting anything.
As far as they knew, it could have just been put into the game. Its brand spakin new no one knows a whole lot about the game and how sertin thing are sapose to work.

As stated in previous posts, if your are doing it the Legit way, 240 Hours of gaming is the magic number to level 80.
To get to 80 that means you would have to play the game for a straight 10 days / 24 hours a day (hopefully I did my math right). Then alone say you got 2 level 80's.. c'mon!
Sounds like a exploit to me. You found a flaw in the game mechanics and knew this wasnt the proper way to level to 80.
On top of everything else, you tell your friends, hey here is a easier way to level 80, just do this.

yes leveling is really fast in aoc. i can do 1-20 in prob 3-4 hours after doing it a few times in closed beta. from 20-40 you can still do an average of about 1 level per hour played by just doing the normal quests. not sure how much it slows down after 40 yet. I have not played more than 2-3 hours avaerage a day in aoc (was out of town the weekend, and still raiding in my old game) and am close to lvl 40 now.

Sorry but 10 hours a day does not equal casual.
A casual gamer does 2-3 hours a day on average, max maybe 4
