First off, I'm not complaining about the actual graphics but the way WoW handles it, so I don't want to see someone post "OMGZ ITZ MEANT TO BE TOONY NUBZ." I am here to complain about the processing of the graphics. Here, this 4 year old game still sucks at performance.
Also, I have Uninstaled WoW, disabled addons, got new hardware and even tried different PC's, and I get the same fps.

For this, I am going to Compare WoW to GW.
NOTE: For Tabula Rasa, steady 55fps max. AoC i get a steady 50fps Max and LoTRO 60fps

Ummm, yea.
GW and WoW are simular FPS in citys, but still, GW have much better graphics.

As you can see, GW owns WoW when it comes to the engine. Sure WoW is a 4 year old game, but it is seriously time for an upgrade. I play both games, but I wish I can get the performance that i am paying for because I should get 130+fps easly in WoW, but it just lacks the support.

There's one thing to learn from this.
Guild Wars sucks.
All this proves is that you managed to somehow make a game that will get 25 FPS on a 486 get 25 frames on a PC that should be getting 120. That must have taken some doing. I have 1/4 the PC you have and get 60 FPS. Congrats.
Easy answer... buy a cheaper pc lol...
First, addons slow things down so keep those to a minimum.
Second, I think on some computers running it in windowed mode drastically reduces FPS...so I'd try it in regular fullscreen mode.

Something is fuct up with this picture here because where I get 60+ fps on guild wars my wow never drops below 120fps and that same is true for all my RL friends that play wow (though they don't play guild wars), they also never drop below 100 - 120fps in wow.
Of course we don't use FRAPS to measure fps, it doesn't give an accurate measurment of true frames per second, rather it gives you relative measurement based on how its able to measure frames per second on a game by game basis.

He's rig is probably not optimized correctly. I have veritcla sync on my machine so I cap 75 FPS. Always 75, never higher, never lower. I'd probably get up to about 250 without VS.
I have to agree with everyone else here. Its not WoW, its you. And the weird thing is how you can mess it up on multiple PC's if you really did try it on them. I've run Raids in Wow with an old laptop that only had 768mb ram 64mb Vid ram and had better FPS than you're getting. One more thing, If you say you've disabled addons, don't post pics with addons showing.
Edit: Oh yeah and try not to run both games at the same time like you are, it might help.
youv got a custom windows xp/vista skin. that uses up allot of memory....

You have to admit that the GW engine has it a bit easier. Unlike WoW, the game is heavily zoned/instanced. And everyone looks the same.

GW: Next to a water fall with the sun in your eyes.
WoW: Stood next to a house zoomed right in.
GW & WoW are no comparison. They are both the games that run best on my PC. As the other guy said GW is insanely instanced and there is very little for it to draw. WoW has enormous zones and sometimes draws past the zone line to give a feeling of immersion. There are thousands of different in-game items, GW everyone just has different colour FOW armor.

No, it is not my computer. There is a 200page thread going on in WoW forums for people who has the 8800 series and gets crap FPS.
I did not do anything to make WoW have less FPS. I tried full screen mode, and i got +3fps.
Yes it is some-what biased, I have tried with no addons and still no charm.
And to the poster complaining about the waterfall, would Wow's waterfall make you feel better?
So WoW graphics suck. So what? Whats the point of this thread?

I got an 8800 GT and I run the game with 75+ FPS sometimes it goes up to 150+, my brother also have an 8800 GT in his laptop and he have even better FPS than me.
Ok , maybe we aren't being clear, Its not WoW, its not your computer, yes Virginia its YOU!!! You've done something wrong, we don't know because all we have is your specs and what you have to say you've done. But all signs point to a PEBKAC error.
Dont use 8xAA, use 2x or none. Thatll get you 50-100 more fps. Why would you play wow at such a frame rate i dont know. A have a similar system and the game runs 70-170fps.
I think people missed this earlier. He's running both programs at the same time in order to bog WoW down. Just ignore him, he's just being a troll (or is a complete idiot).
Also check out the icons he is also running that doesn't show as a tab on the windows bar.
i never get more than 40fps in wow, i nearly get that on AOC.
I forgot that running 2 games at once with a 4g ram system decreases fps by 80%

Can only speak for myself but My FPS rarly drop below 40.
Do not this was taken in window mode so i could get the DXDiag on screen but in full screen I had an extra 12FPS (42FPS), droped to 30FPS in window mode.
My processor is a bottleneck also... only being single core AMD 6000.
I am also running vista so we cna knock off some FPS for that too =D
something is really really wrong with your rig, my computer is not as good as yours, but its still good, and i play wow at max settings, i also use a macro that makes the game looks better (such a more shades, better lighting, more grass, etc), and i still play at 40 fps :P
