One thing is certain though anyone who says bloodfin has no population or a low population has not logged in.
I don't suppose you have any screenshots of this massive population on Bloodfin...
Of course not, but it's all good. I'm going to log on tonight and post screenies at peak hours. We'll nip this little lie in the bud.
Euro prime time in a USA server, so it's not peak by any mean. Right now Bloodfin is marked as "medium" server and there are around 550 + /anon concurrent players according to the search tool. Mos Eisley has a lot of people running up and down. It's not peak (yesterday there were 800+anon), but it's not like you said in the first page:
"Ummm, funny, I found Bloodfin to be quite dead, not 100%, but at least 90%... Most I saw online at one time was 75 or so people."

its 5 pm. and i'm tired of the word lie being tossed around so as i munch on desert and watch the boob tube here is the NOT prime time shots that i took 3 seconds to take on my level 5 character as i take some server tours trying to decide if i should transfer or not
now i dont particularly care about the flames to the photso that will be next and i'm not counting dots this time and i can't be bothered to host it on my own server space so if the bandwidth dies it dies this time
at prime time im pretty sure there is gonna be a server qeue if they do that kind of thing however if you use the search tool you will see that the server is very crowded unfortunately that will mean that this argument can't continue but whatever..
I moved to Bloodfin back before I 1st quit because Corbantis had become dead. I recently came back and it's really only busy in two places: Mos Eisley and Restuss. And when I say busy I mean at best 20 people in one spot.Mos Eisley is busy because that's where the new players start and Restuss is busy because that's where PVP is. Back when I started playing in late 2004, it seemed to be busy EVERYWHERE...
-Grinding spots...There used to be tons of players hanging around these places.I remember a good group grinding spot behind the cantina on Eisley where NPCS spawned.Another was in the Dathomir Outpost where players would gather to group up for hunts.l etc. etc, You NEVER ventured outside the cities unless you were a Ranger or in a group because the wildlife was really scary. No kidding. I remember getting killed in one swipe by a Krayt Dragon at Ben Kenobis Home.
-Cantinas...Mos Eisley is the only one I can find in game that has a decent number of entertainers.Theed used to be bustling with them as well as some on Corellia. Usually you could always find entertainers in ANY cantina because many players spent most of their time on the same planet building their communities.Never did I walk into a cantina on Tatooine,Naboo or Corellia and have to worry about never finding an entertainer.
-Medical Facilities...Basically empty buildings with no purpose now. This used to be the place you had to go to get a doctor to heal up after death or to clear up wounds.Yes, you actually had to worry about wounds on your character back then that didn't just magically disapear.
-The Image Designer tents- Another set of buildings that just serve as reminders of what was once in the game because NO ONE has any need to visit these.
Basically, the game used to be a virtual world where you ALWAYS bumped into people no matter where you were. Now, it gotten to the point where people are doing character transfers because their servers have no population and people are taking screenshots of 20 people to prove that the game still kicking. I can understand some of the changes made, but they really went overboard and now I feel the game is on its last legs.

I don't play on bloodfin but it surprises me that it would seem dead - its considered one of the more populated servers.
one thing I don't like about the 'convenience tools' we have such as instant travel, group pickups, etc is that it doesnt create a central 'hub' where players converge. Coronet was the center of the travel hub back when you had to use public transport so it was the center of commerce, etc.
Allowing instant travel has hurt the community more than help it, imo.
