I just said, that with the technology today (I have 4GB RAM, Nvidia 280, Quad-Core, etc) I would like to see a game (Other then Age of Conan, which I won't play) push the envelope, but at the same time have good gameplay.
I just think that Blizzard could perhaps make things a bit... better looking then blocky dwarves and silly gnomes with 4 hair colors...?

I disagree with revamping the characters because they really fit into the game world as they are.  I suppose that they could be made more detailed without making them look too "realistic" (I mean, not changing the art style into something that is more real-world-looking and instead just enhancing the graphic style they have) but even still then the character models would probably end up with a different feel than everything around them.  One of the most impressive things about WoW's graphics (if maybe the only impressive thing?) is that everything "fits" together.  Nothing looks out of place, and that creates a really immersive game experience and a world that is truly believable.  But if you change up the character's appearances to make them more detailed, maybe the rest of the world does start to look bland in comparison.

I just think the graphics serve the game and world really well as they are.

I'm not asking for photo-realistic graphics.  I understand (and have played all the Warcraft games) that this is the style of Warcraft.

I'm just saying... they could perhaps make things look better.  I understand the doing behind it, they wanted it so everyone in the world with a computer 15+ years or older to be able to play their game.

With the amount of money Blizzard is making... I think they could easily afford a project like this.  But who am I but one of millions?

Why won't you play Age of Conan?  I think I know the answer, just want to hear you say it.

Pay to play BETA.  I have followed this game for a long while, posted all over the forums...  I was --- that close to buying the game at launch and told myself to hold off to see how it goes.

Later I hear nonstop issues, broken things and just broken promisses.  I've played my share of broken games and I told myself, let this one have what it needs... time.

And what did you think the answer was?

I admit I quit WoW several months back when I got into beta of AoC. After trying very hard to like it but not being able to since it was and still is an unfinished, unbalanced, bug-ridden peice of junk (with a stint of trying out Pirates of the Burning Sea) I found myself going back to WoW. Which I swore I wouldn't do.

That was it.  Yes, it would be nice to have a graphic update from Blizzard, but I'll take what WoW has to offer over what Conan does at the moment.

My poison of choice...  when I MUST play a MMORPG.

    Everquest 2.

I just put wayyyyy too many years into that game to get sucked back into it.  All though it does look pretty at the highest setting known to man. :)  Oohh... makes me want to redownload it... *SLAPS HAND*  NO!

    *EDIT*

Sorry to go bit off topic here.
