The Devs of Warhammer said the only reason not to drop the NDA until right before release, was that the game was a bomb.
I think they are running out of time to play by their own rules, and drop the NDA.
They should have dropped it yesterday. It's not like everyone hasn't already been to beta leaks.

Not too late at all. Theres 36 days till release, and i m willing to bet the rumors of this fri-sat will be the NDA drop. Thats plenty of time.
Well, if you indeed went where you eluded to you would know that they released a new patch that they wanted the testers to test first. I wouldn't be suprised if the NDA drops sometime this week. Still a bit more then a month before the game goes live.
What do you think is typical NDA drop time before release? I'd say anything under 30 days is cutting it kinda close.
why be bothered by a late NDA drop? You yourself have seen leaked beta footage and probably read testimonials about how great the game is. So there is no worry. Perhaps they want to put out another patch before NDA drops.
In my experience the NDA Is never dropped before OB..so usually about 10 to 15 days before release. Complaining because its not down yet and there's 36 days left is retarded. Hell AoC never dropped theres and i didn't see nearly as much booing there.
It's true, but it's still frustrating. They don't have any reason to fear dropping the NDA, so why keep it up?

MJ stated last week they have a couple of things they want to fix first before the NDA drops. I'm guessing they want the freshest of the fresh information coming out about their game.
OK, maybe 15 days is more reasonable. But I wouldnt' use the AoC comparison, because we all know how that turned out.
The WAR devs are the ones that said, you can rate a game by how early the NDA drops, but they didn't say what "early" or late actually is.
Obviously not dropping it at all before release is a bad sign, but other than that I don't have much to go on.
they never dropped the NDA for AoC so ppl are worried they're trying to cover up an equally craptastic game /shug.
My only complaint is the lack of all classes being implemented at launch (VG killed my hopes of a company ever releasing the "we'll get them in after launch" classes.
It's just about making sure the game is polished enough to present to the public worldwide. No matter how long a game has been in development, bugs are very common and are hard to weed out.
Really though unless there is some large issue that the patch is going to address; what's the point?
NDA will drop when the WAR beta is in release state... ie feature complete. Devs say WAR internal build is feature complete, but current closed beta build is not... yet.
That part doesnt' bother me, cause I never wanted to play the missing classes. I could care less.
How is 20 out of 24 a lack of classes, not to mention they werent' delayed they were CUT as in they are NOT promised for post launch?
VG launched with MORE classes than necessary and half of them were craptastic at best. VG proved that trying to give the players ALOT from the beginning is a BAD idea..quantity doesn't make up for quality.
What does that mean? What features are missing from the beta? I expect that even the Open Beta won't have all content in it, which means you won't see some end game features.
There's no features missing that I've noticed.
15th is my bet for the NDA drop.
And I know of one partial missing feature but its basicly half implemented already.

there is a reason why they have not dropped it yet . Mythic believes the NDA and OB are like a preiview / marketing tool for the game , they want the game PERFECT before they drop the NDA ... believe me , it will be close to it when they do .
Name it then because otherwise i call shenanigins on you.
The new patch did address a pretty big issue.

Do it, do it! Call shananigins on him!

You mean you won't get to experience all the content because of the level cap? Certainly you don't mean that you think the content isn't included yet? Because if content isn't in the game and simply being improved/tested it's most likely going to suck when it does get thrown in at the last minute.
Dancing emotes? Yes, those are important I guess.
Well I was in closed and open for LOTRO and to tell you 2 to 3 weeks for NDA drop is about right I think. LOTRO had some major issues with frame rate and area voids prior to NDA drop. They fixed the issues with in a couple of days. Shut down CB and when we patched for OB all the issues the last week of CB were gone and the game ran outstanding and the final retail build was even better. I think we will see the same kind of thing here hopefully.
Open beta really is the key to a successful launch and you can't take back first impression's and a 100K people not happy is not a good way to get off the ground. So if Mythic is having some opening night jitters that is not unreasonable. Remember it's easy to criticize when it's not your neck being stretched out.

No, I mean it's standard to have a level cap in open beta, and not let people see the game all the way to the end without paying for a box.
