Isn't it getting a bit late to drop the NDA?

I'd say about the time the games goes into open beta should be about when NDA is dropped...... At that point your game should be pretty much ready to go and just need alot of people to test the server loads and other mass issues......

What does that mean? What features are missing from the beta? I expect that even the Open Beta won't have all content in it, which means you won't see some end game features.

You mean you won't get to experience all the content because of the level cap? Certainly you don't mean that you think the content isn't included yet? Because if content isn't in the game and simply being improved/tested it's most likely going to suck when it does get thrown in at the last minute.

No, I mean it's standard to have a level cap in open beta, and not let people see the game all the way to the end without paying for a box.

Well most the games that I can remember that had a level cap all the way through the open beta turned out to be crap. It was pretty obvious that they did so to cover the worst part of the game. And since Warhammer is supposed to be more about the end game RVR then the PVE experience I don't see why a cap would be needed to limit content.

As Elli says below though 5 weeks is certainly a fair time for the NDA drop.

gotta aggree with all the people saying about the 15th for the NDA drop. as it is still 5weeks and 3 days before the retail release...

All I care about is that I HAVE MY CE codes all ready!

Roll a class that uses ranged combat, compare that thing at your feet to those around you...  There are more but those are the ones I can talk about since they are there to see in the latest video.  I hope the other beta testers share my ability to spot broken features or we're in trouble come Sept 18.

I don't care IF they drop the NDA.

balancing really isn't a missing feature.  A missing feature is say...them leaving out PvP or leaving out Scenarios or PQ's thats a feature.

My only complaint is the lack of all classes being implemented at launch (VG killed my hopes of a company ever releasing the "we'll get them in after launch" classes.

That part doesnt' bother me, cause I never wanted to play the missing classes. I could care less.

Your posting says otherwise. You seem to have an axe to grind or are extremely impatient.

Mark said he worries about games that don't drop the NDA at least 30 days before release.  So if he has confidence in the game it should be dropping any time now.  My guess is CE servers go up today and NDA is dropped today or tomorrow, but it is just a guess.

Oh wow!......all I can say is you guys are in for a big, wonderful surprise very soon.  Sorry I can't say more but I LOVE this game (beta tester) and do know some of what is coming in the next few weeks. Stay tuned! It's gonna be one VERY fun ride!

I'm impatient, that's true. But I really don't care about the missing 4 classes. How any can care about a class they've never played is beyond me. Supposedly they dropped those classes because they were crappy, so why would I complain that crappy classes weren't included in the release? If they were crappy, then good riddance.

That just means I"m less likely to spend time on a class only to figure out later it sucks.

But I'm not the one that originally made the statement about when an NDA should be dropped. That was Mark.
