Generally speaking I agree with the OP. I do have to say that crafting isnt quite as peachy as he paints it though. I mean dont get me wrong. It is more random. The recipies do exist when you find them through trial and error. Albeit there is a big element of luck. I definitely liked that.

Generally combat is fast enough for me. I'm a shadow warrior and sword master though. They tend to be fairly brutal classes when it comes to pounding out the attacks. As a tester for the last few months I noticed something alot of people do which slows combat down. There waiting for the skill cool down to totally cool. YOU CAN pop off skills if you time it right and have two or even three going off at once. Its not a cheat. Just stack the slowest skill first then pop off 2 or even three instants right after. Its basically a huge barrage of damage at once.

Whereas if you wait for the skills individually to pop off .. gosh I wonder why your slow Which may explain why I win in RVR and PQ so often

stfu with all the crafting references. who cares about vanguards and starwars galaxies crafting. if the crafting matter that much both games would still have tons of subscribers and still be successful to this day. obviously crafting doesnt make a game, there are other  important aspects to a game than just crafting and obviously galaxies and vanguard didnt have those other aspects because the games are pretty much dead.

Of course they are FACTS for the very reason that it is the honest to good truth of the current status of the product known as WARHAMMER ONLINE. The reason it is true, is because it explains both sides of the coin, while you may not consider it a fact...as one concrete form of information, I do. It is based on the actual status of the game.

Let me explain something to you. When you give a concrete bit of information, in this case a fact, you support it with reasoning and thought. This is elementary my dear watson, something they teach not only in junior high schools, but all the way up to the college level finishing with a senior thesis.

You yourself should look at your own reply, as theres nothing factual about it, rather just your own opinion.

What the hell are you talking about?

You gave an OPINION - NOTHING MORE.

Since when is your opinion a fact?  It seems you think very highly of yourself.  What I think of you, can't be posted..

'Elementary my dear Watson' - how passe, how quaint.  Btw, the way, this 'junior high school' you mention - did you ever attend it?

It's roth with opinion, but Raben gives detailed explaination for where his opinion comes from and has an obvious attempt to point out the good and bad. From what you're  presenting Spaceweed you comparing an opinion of:  "OMG this game rules and anyone who doesn't think so is a sucking liar' to "Senarios are battle grounds, with a limit of 16 players its hard to get a zerg going, but zerg play is common. Blizt the opponent and stay in a group, then it becomes the same exact thing but on a smaller scale. Solo play or small groups dont do as well if not in a zerg. " and suggesting they are equal. That's illogical and idiotic. Agree or disagree with the ultimate conclusion of the two positions, but at least one of them is an postion and not just argumentative tripe. If you can't tell the difference between the value of the two different arguments, then frankly your "opinion" of them has no value.

    Utter garbage.

I like the crafting BUT I don't feel obligated to use it because it doesnt give me something I dont have or let me put it this way--> I can get the things I craft from the enemies I kill or quests I finish making the crafting a bit useless in a way....except to get tome unlocks! I love my tome unlocks. PLING!

    This is not a game.

Ok I just want to know exaclty how crafting in this game works.   You say there are no recipies?  So how do you know what to make? Does that mean if I think I have ingredients to make a flaming arrow that explodes on impact I can do it?

You also say that EQ2 crafting is a joke? Yeah its basicly a mini game but its better than WoW's crafting. You just gather shit and if you have the ingredents you just click a button an you make the item.  In EQ2 you actually have to fix the problems that you run into and if you dont, the item doesn't get made.   I have played a lot of mmo's and its pretty much the best crafting system out there IMHO.   I like those so called mini game crafting. It actually gives you something to do while crafting instead of clicking create all and tab out to surf the web.    I don't see how you get the idea that its a joke, and somone else said it was dumbed down.  Im just not putting the pieces together.  But i guess its all matter of opinion.

Fact: This is probably the most well thought out crafting system to date.  EQ2 is not well thought out, don't cite it, EQ2 turns crafting into a mini-game.  Warhammer makes crafting an art, you FIND the ingredients, there are no recipes.  You have control over the final product, not just the quality.

You apparently have not played SWG. That "had" a beautiful crafting system.

You got me there, never played SWG.

People are entitled to their opinion just like you are.  If they don't like it then they are lying?  Since you like it can they accuse you of lying and being a fanboy?  The answer to both is no.  They are allowed to give their opinion without being accused of being liars and so are you.

for those saying that theg ame is a zerg fest explain to me this im a swordmaster in rvr gear my mate is a rune preist inrvr gear he and i hold back 8 player on the oposite team while our other freind a white lion caps the flag this game can be zerged but zergs can be halted by good strats.

In a open world RvR fight keep to keep on my magus order showed impressive strategies and orgenaization the larger group would slowly fall back drawing the entire destruction group closer then from both sides two smaller group of order would destroy us that is strategy it worked well for them till we figured it out and held the smallr groups with 6 people two tanks two healer and a sorc.

Ya SWG's crafting system was insanly good... QQ wish they made a damn remake of SWG instead of all these WoW clones ....If only WoW was never made we would have so much more of a variety of games

Look, who gives a sh*t, honestly, if someone complains about a game or product. STFU and make your own.

    Simple as that.

I hate most music out there, so I made my own band. Not hard.

I hate infants, so I shake my own new born son... Not hard.

Get a f*cking life and play for fun.

WAR is fun in my opinion. If you do not think so, go make your own game and let us rate it.

Just FYI, shaking infants is fun as hell and should not be judged.
