    In 2005: Tasos Flambouras: It's getting close to the point where people will get the chance to playtest the game. If they aren't looking at Darkfall now, they'll probably wish they had been. :)

    Darkfall was supposedly entering close beta testing Sept 2003.

    Beta 2003 was the old game Razorwax developed in Norway 2001 to late 2002. This isnt even the same game were talking about. The Darkfall game that will go beta October 2008 were started 2003 in Greece. =)

     

    Wait wait wait...  the Darkfall game that will go beta October 2008?! OMFG!!! WOOHOO!!! Darkfall Beta Is Finally Here!!!!11!!1

    But hang on. What if it somehow... I dunno... somehow doesn't go beta in October 2008? That will still be OK right? Because it will still be just around the corner, right? And it won't be a lie, right, it will just be a natural part of the dev cycle... or an internal date that was never actually promised... or a desperate prediction from Darkfall's messiah Aragon100... or maybe just a disturbance in the Force?

     

                     



     

    It would be a different matter if they fail to release the game before the end 2008.

    Reason for this is that this is the first time they made a official company commitment to release within 2008. =)

    And if it doesn't have a Beta or release this year. Will you still place them all on a do no wrong pedestal?

    Or finally acknowledge their major shortcomings?
