This game HAS to be seen in HD not Youtube to be truly appreciated.
If you are watching the Youtube version (even the high quality), you are missing a lot.
Of course graphics are not the same level of AoC, but Aventurine doesn't have the same budget of Funcom either.
For what they have, they are doing miracles.

Beheading is one of the game's features, along with the other "ending" moves. Shows how much the ex-vaportrolls know about the actual game. In the video, there's a short snippet of an Ork crushing a Dwarf's head with its foot, too.
This is about how it goes: After you've got a person to zero or very low health, the character lies on the ground and can be still resurrected by a healer. Anyway, after "ending" the character, it actually dies.

They should put the HD version up on gametrailers.com or something, it would get far more exposure.
I dont care about graphics too much so the youtube vids showed me everything I wanted to see (whats possible in game, not what it looks like). Thats what the really important stuff is, the rest is just wrapping. I would make an effort to watch the high res of a site but dont need to see high res bad enough to download a file off of filefront.
Waiting for: A skill-based MMO with Freedom and Consequence.

Seriosuly OP showed a lot of class and you other trolls need to own up. The people with legit complaints PLEASE post them so we can have legit discussions.
But the whole "DF is vapor it will never release" arguement is no longer valid, and thats not really up for debate.

Ok i to will admit i was wrong. they did release a video grats to them it was better then i expected. However... i do have a few issues with the video. It showed nothing of the ui, or how any other system of the game works apart from combat, ship battles and running on and off a mount. except for part 3 were it shows 2 seconds of them selling something.
The video was good, but was weak in actually showing how the game works.
Yea i think we all wanted more UI, but i think we saw enough to put to rest the whole scripted arguement or its just an oblivion mod.
The goal of the video wasnt to show how the game works. The devs have always said that they trust the community and that the product will speak for itself. The video was meant to show the gameplay and the different scenarios of combat you could get into, because the game is primarily pvp combat game.

You're comparing Darkfall to Pong? You probably need to keep playing WoW and AoC as any real game would likely be above your comprehension.

Darkfall looks incredible. It's nice to finally see another sandbox come out that has tons of content, can't wait to get in and try it out.

You being a fan should be asking for a lot more than a lame video that shows you nothing about the game, how do you know even know those are game elements? Because the devs said so? I saw a screen of something flash at one point, was that a game element?
I saw a screen for crafting for one millisecond, was that a game element?
The point is all of those things could have been static graphics and have no functionality at all, one wonders since they showed them for split seconds and nothing more than that.
All I saw was animation, animation that 3d modeling college students can produce in Maya or 3dMax.

yep...there will always be people afraid of this game because they cant fathom its features...let them gloat. the fans discuss their game here, the trolls discredit it thinking their time spent is going to ruin the game or something.
at the end of the day, barely anyone looks at this forum, maybe 2% of the community that would play or know about it at all. So they are wasting their time, while we attempt to share our common interest and look forward to having fun.

It so sad to see you whine, was the AoC hurt too much for ya? Now you have to bash every other game out in existence? If loving the most polished launched and current MMO out in the market today is a bad thing then you got some issues that I can't handle. {Mod Edit}

I'm responding (and reporting) to what you posted. You're just in here to troll. If you can't find anything better to do, perhaps it's better if you step down from your position. I consider MMORPG.com to be very fair and reputable and your actions here are completely out of line. It will be a shame if they continue to allow you to troll like you have been but you have been reported nonetheless.

I know man..you, me, and so many others are drooling right now that this genre may actually offer us something original and exciting again. gl getting into beta.
Thanks, you too. I'm guessing it will open up soon if they're shooting for a 2008 release. It will be nice to get in there and test things out.
