Definately going to be WoW should be out in November...Warcraft under the X-mas tree...

That is the most direct and to the point idea I have seen in a long time...nice.
As much as I'd like to be playing Dark and Light this holiday season, it too will not be released by then. The latest word is release will be around April 2005. I can almost guarantee that most (if not all) of the other highly anticipated games (read - WoW, EQ2, Mourning, Wish, Darkfall, etc.) for this year will not actually make the holiday release. And if they happen to do so, then it probably never should have happened but the company decided to push their games out the door in order to get as many Christmas sales as possible with no regard to whether the game is ready to be released.
Ryzom's what I'll be playing til they drag me off the servers. Then I'll probably join fan servers, if such a thing exists. Or go into serious withdrawls.
Pinning my hopes firmly on DnL as things stand. From the looks of it, it has everything I am looking for- nice backstory, huge world, great looks, PvP and a good-sized fanbase.
Of course if PoBS lives up to it's aims and promise, I'll be sailing the seas rather than wandering around looking for a group in any of the other offferings
