Signe is just my first name.  Since TS has become so popular in most of the games I play, sometimes I'm sorry I didn't make something up.  I waver between amused and annoyed with people trying to pronouce it.

What's behind my username is my hobby. I've been playing guitar for a year now and have gotten quite good since then. I'm on scales etc right now, and I can't even read music sheets coz my degree ain't something related to music LOL

When I hold my guitar, I become a different person.

When I started playing Everquest I was fiddilng with the random name generator and I came up with something close to this...and then changed it to what I thought sounded a little more cool...a couple years later I found out that it was a Warcraft reference...unintentional, but still annoying that most people probably thought that that was why I did it...I never even really liked Warcraft that much (even while playing WoW my only real thoughts were "I wish this were Starcraft")

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

A game by the name of Demon Stone came out for the PS2, it wasn't very good but there was a character in it, a mage by the name of Illius.  I liked the name and figured I'd use it since almost noboyd will know of the game or the character.

    Not much to it really....

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

Despite the massive amount of predictable skin rash jokes, that's not where I got mine from.

When I decided to play City of Heroes,I wanted a name like one of my favorite X-Men. Gambit. I picked a name that suited my play style, which was wreckless, hasty, madcap....Rash. So thats that.

Honestly, I wouldn't have thought of that.

I suppose.  Some people, even in my own family, pronouce it Seen-ya (like the French) because they don't like the Norwegian sound.  I don't mind too too much and it does provide a perverse sort of entertainment listening to people attempt to say it.  Or maybe that's just my defense mechanism kicking in.

It's kind of similar with my last name.  I'm from the Balkans so the people here in Canada have a hard time with my last name and can never get it right the first time without some help or unless they've been there and know a bit about the slavic language.

Mine is the name of the attack that Prince Lyon used in Fire Emblem (The Sacred stones).

The other name I use 'Prox" was the name of the town where the big bad guys came from in Golden Sun

I'm "Beatnik" because I used to read poetry at coffee houses dancing and playing drums.

    I'm "59" because I'm a member of the 59 Club.

Happened to come up with the name for some reason and since no one else seems to use it I've been using it... Nothing fancy really. If you google godliest the second link is actually to one of my accounts, which is quite freaky.

When I was 12, I was co-writing a book that featured a heroine by the name of "Marle". At the time, I did not know what the roman numerals were so I just guessed and put down "VVLL" as a surname; hoping it was a a correct roman numeral...

Ever since then, I've used it for most of my forum names and game accounts.

    I'm a male, btw. :P

    Blessings,

There's no background behind my name.  It just so happens to be the one I go by on here and several places.

Same here.  Zindaihas was the name of my first MMO character in EQ.  When I registered to join this website, it was the first website I had ever registered with and I couldn't think of any other name to use.

Now I usually use the name VortigernPendragon, which is a combination of King Vortigern and Uther Pendragon, both of the Arthurian legend.  Sometimes I also use kirebanor which is the cave that the members of Monty Python had to pass through on their quest for the Holy Grail.  Though, I'm not sure that's how it is spelled.

It's Caerbannog.  My husband has the Monty Python transcript book which happened to be sitting in front of me, so I looked it up.

470 because it was all I can think of..what can I say, I'm rebellious like that..

Ah, thanks for that bit of info.  It looked funny to me when I first saw it, but upon closer inspection, I can see it now.  I don't know if it's the English accent, but I can't hear the "g" when he says it.
