I forgot about this song. I really like it, but I'm not sure if I'm embarrassed to admit it. Anyone think I should be?
That depends on whether you still like it now. If you do, then yes, you should be embarrassed. I won't hold your passed transgressions against you though.
So I've always wanted to tell someone that I have at least one song I'm ashamed to admit I like, but I'm too ashamed too. But then I figured, why not post it on a forum where no one knows the real you? So here goes. I really like this song: this one I'm really embarrassed now. If you could see me, you would see that my face is red. But in a way, it's also been therapeutic. I'm glad I finally got that off my chest. Anyone else brave enough to post a song that they're ashamed to admit they like?
I dont understand why you are embarassed for liking this song. I like songs like this all the time.
I've always liked that one you chose.
there's tons of sappy songs Im not ashamed of liking, for instance:
uk.youtube.com/watch Aztec Camera - Somewhere in the Heart (if I proposed to a girl and sang a song I would do this one)
uk.youtube.com/watch - Joe Jackson - Steppin' Out (I dont feel gay for liking this song at all - he's an amaziing artist with songs like 'I'm the Man' and the whole Beat Crazy album.
uk.youtube.com/watch - Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy (another song with an obviously gay singer)
If you all want more classic 'sappy' songs just reply and Im sure I can come up with more modern songs as well. Don't be ashamed of the 80s. Some good music happened.
edit: I forgot the one of the coolest 80s songs ever
I apologize because I'm hopping in so late here, but God bless you. You just gave me the best mixtape of all time for my drive home for Thanksgiving. I always have trouble coming up with good, old, catchy songs that you can't help but like. Al it needs is a little Chuck Mangione and we're set.
Hey, check this out. A song I posted earlier on this thread has been picked (by somebody) as the 8th saddest song of all-time. Knowing Me, Knowing You by ABBA. It doesn't make me cry, but I guess I could see the sadness in it.
Anyway, it also gives me a chance to post another embarrassing song. Semi-embarrassing, I guess. Not totally embarrassing.

That's pretty awful, but I much prefer this song, back from when Cindy Wilson was still a babe...

- I don't know, but some people without brains do an awful lot of talking, don't they?

I have been thinking for a long time, but I cannot think of a single song I am embarrased to admit I like.
I have been trying to think of something too.
I just cannot come up with one.

Here's another one I'm a little ashamed of.
