Today I searched for the first time on the internet where I could get my best PVE healing maces at max level in Northrend. Leveled my engeneering and suddenly I can shoot with my gloves at those bastards.
This is where I find Wow at its best. Searching for the faction to do quests with and counting when you can buy that mace at a vendor. I felt right home again.
I like very much the WotLK quests, but give me the basic Wow "pace" of playing it like I use to do. Wow is a resting place for me I know realise.
Home sweet home as of now. The weekly raids and doing the quests for reputation and professions and ... at night a little drink and chat at the new bar in Dalaran. I hope they'll invite the same rock band they had in Shat.
I'm grateful for the expansion and like the new features. I'm not batty-crazy over getting to 80 because the last two times I'd 'capped out' I had way too much time on my hands. I really really like the other extras like shadows, improved graphics, accelerated gameplay, glyphs, pet/mount tab, currency tab, etc.
Greyhooff might be an immature misogynist, but categorizing someone who is in their 30s and being a gamer as needing to rethink their life is incredibly narrow-minded. One can be a gamer, be in their 30s or any age, have a career, family, etc. There is no exclusive social club that constitutes gaming.
You go on a rambling aside about the credit crisis. To me, gaming is the best form of entertaining one's self in this current economic climate. All other forms of entertainment are far more expensive. WoW and WAR are both good since you don't really need an alt account to enjoy all of the perks of the game, unlike EvE, DAoC, and others.
Anyway, I'm pretty much done with this discussion. It's devolved into a bunch of mostly stupid and pointless comments about WAR vs WoW which has nothing to do with the title of the thread.
Back in EvE. Started with BatMUD. Main MMOs have been EvE and DAoC.
I am glad the "hectic weeks" are over. Today I searched for the first time on the internet where I could get my best PVE healing maces at max level in Northrend. And now let the end game begin ...;) at MY pace. Home.
Upping a positive post because I don't want to hear the name of G ever again in a Wow forum.

Very bored. I even quit.
