"No the game just doesn't look that awesome graphic wise.

The hair looks like one texture plastered on. No real shadowing.

I mean seriously look at the "chainmail" on his chest. THAT is laughable. It doesn't look bad, but ths crap that is AOC looks a million times better. Yes I know its still beta which mean the comment of "No high res patch yet ? The Model doesn't look all that define, looked like a f2p game " is a valid one. All betas I've been in put the hi res stuff in later in beta so is this final graphics? If so yeah looks like a million other F2P games. ESPECIALLY if you have a 280 GTX and are running it on anywhere near high graphics."

The textures aren't at the level of AoC, but the performance and lighting are 100 times better.

We really have to wait until it comes state side and we can see it ourselves. We have no idea what his graphic lvls are set at.

Short answer: No.  The art style is the same but the quality isn't. Most F2P games arrive in the west a few years later then it first launched so they are already outdated by the time english folk get to play.. O.o

I play AoC a bit again, and yes the graphics are great, are they better? Not really, they are more demanding, but Aion's textures look positively delicious. If you look at the fauna in AoC or Dreamfall, it's not all that great. So while Aion's models are less intensive on your system the combination of awesome texturing and lighting effects is really what makes the difference.

It really does bother me I showed him more photos that looked better and he still keeps talking about how it looks like a f2p game

 

Is he just blinded that theres a game that is truly better than the one who plays and refuses to admit it and attempts to diss the game thats better to feel good?

I've seen all your other pictures and its the same as I said with this one. I like how I bring up valid points and all you can do is call people "IDIOT". That's the last resort of people that cannot back there arguments up with facts, attacking others.

I never said that the chainmail looked "dumb". I don't care it it's level 1 or level fricking 100, it looks like it was spraypainted on

 

Thats what he wrote I never called him and idiot and if all the photos look bad PLEASE show me one that looks as beautiful as aion. Seems like Aion is ruined because the chainmail looks bad to him .... L M A O

What I seen of Aion looks nice, there are a few details that I would expect to be in that arn't like bowstrings but no game is perfect.

do you guys know how to mirror dual monitors in XP? Everytime I turn extend off the other screen just blacks out.

I really hate those ‘Waiting for’ signatures. We are waiting for people like you to put some effort into the community of your current game, you lazy gits!

We know Aions graphics are great, we know there are going to be those who say they are not. Except that and move on.

I really think people should just wait for release. The graphics in Aion are the absolute least of my worries as the official screenshots are beautiful. That's the quality I expect at release.

I do not see any other on my 9800 Gx2 besides running HDMI and DVI on the same GPU there is no clone in my desktop options or nvidia control panel

I remember when i got Final Fantasy XI when it first came out... i was impressed with the graphics, the game play ect... but the graphics what really got me... i really liked how nice and smooth and colourful and bright everything was.... Then a year later i got myself the top of the line Graphix Card... plugged it in and didnt noticed much in my computer ect... but then i loaded FFXI and OMG..... the quality had jumped 10X.... i couldnt believe the game could acutally be BETTER then what i was playing.... i was hitting myself for not upgrading BEFORE lol.... So you have too remember everyone that the screenshots don't always do games justice and certain ppl might have the wrong settings or cards and boom... graphix arent as good as they should be...
