5 of the 6 keeps on our server on T2 were destro controlled. So I started a warband and in 2 hours we had turned it over to 5 keeps belonging to Order.
Later that day I started another warband and we went to attack Spite's. Unknown to us there were 3 Destro warbands in the area. We were destroyed.
Word got out and within 20 to 30 mins we had a 3 warband vs 3 warband fight that lasted for 2 1/2 hours over Spite's in the Shadowlands.
Communication between the 3 warbands was bad at first but in the end the 3 warbands devised a plan that allowed us to take down the Keep.
It was an Epic battle indeed!

Kind of a goodnews/badnews deal on the inf rewards in orvr.
On the good side, the lower tier items are very solid and will likely be with a character for a while, and at low level, it is a great way to get people into the rvr lakes.
On the bad side; the stats for the high end orvr items are all wrong. Every one gives a stat that is useless to a class. For example: A sorc does not need initiative, yet that is the primary stat on all elite items in tier 4. This is stupid.
Also, it takes 54k inf. to get to the top of the tier. You get abou 200 for taking a keep, and less than 10 for killing a player. If you do the math on that one, you will realize that this reward will take forever to get... and considering it is not even an item I would equip now (level 34) I really don't see it as a motivator to play all the way to level 40 in orvr.
So it's a great idea, a long grind and a worthless top item. At least the 2 lesser rewards are good!
