We all know you think it is fair, you have only told us it is vaporware in nearly every post. But you are simply wrong in using it and saying Turbine teases MOD9 as imminent(eminent means standing out or jutting out, imminent means about to happen, more words you use improperly). Might want to look up the words before using them. If you want to have an intelligent debate and discussion on the subject I am all for it. If you want to call names and call people liars then we are done. So in review MOD9 may be eminent and stand above all other Mods to date but Turbine has not lead me to believe it is imminent.
Oh my God, the spell checker on my browser muffed eminent and imminent and I did not catch it, let's go into an anal retentive frenzy why don't we. It isn’t like this board is infamous for mucking up such things.
That said, if Turbine wasn’t trying to leave the impression that MOD 9 was close to release (or even outright create that impression) then why are they so absolutely silent about when it will be released? Obvious answer is that it is a long way off and announcing as much would likely mean people leaving even with the intention of coming back when it gets out, if it ever does. Again, MOD 9 is not vaporware in the same vein as Duke Nukem Forever or things of that sort - but in terms of a game that relies on regular content updates to be playable (playable without constant repetition of existing static content) it is very late. The lack of information on why or when and the obvious months left to go make it its own kind of vaporware. Add in that MOD 8 contained very little new content (only a very small bit all in a tutorial/intro type area) and the game has now gone for nearly a year with no content added and even on the DDO boards the delay and the frustration is obvious and vocal. Consider that a year represents a third of the game’s lifespan and that, for better or worse, most would agree that the amount of content has always been an issue with the game and that makes the period without content of consequence, especially now that it is quite late and still seemingly quite a ways off.

Do not depend on spell checker. Know the meaning of the words you want to use or do not use words you lack the understanding of. Yes thats right call me anal retentive for catching you using another word the wrong way. So other people on the board make mistakes so that obsolves you of responsibility for your mistakes? It is just more proof that you do not know what you are talking about as has been shown to you multiple times. Just like you insisting upon calling people dishonest while it is quite clear you try and twist things to fit your perspective.

troll lately?
You're inaccruate rantings and intentionaly misleading statements are akin to someone who's recieved brain damage or is on drugs yet I suspect both might apply to the majority of your mindless claims. The nature of your ramblings deserves a unique title for these boards, one that should allow for an instant blocking of your posts due to the nature of the idiocy you profess and trollish behavior you insist.
Now, I'm not saying you're an idiot 'cs I believe you are anything but. That being said, I am also the type of person who's optomistic when the crack heads camping in the alley dissapear - I believe they get cleaned up and learn to live a better life, but I digress...
When a module introduces 4 outdoor areas, 8 quests, a public area (Korthos Island) along with 3 repurposed quests, not to mention a variety of loot and collectible equipement enhancements, I fail to identify your faulty logic, but you're reputation of lies (ie, the intent to decieve) and inacurracies precedes you, doesn't it.

And ending a sentence in a preposition? Will you waste forum space flaming yourself for that mistake? Or can we just agree that a forum is not an thesis paper and we really do not care about such things that are important in other settings but not on an internet board.

First, my mistake as there were 4 quests added with MOD 8 for upper levels, the rest of the content was pretty much Korthos which is a mix of some new tutorial level stuff and repurposing of old quests. I thought those higher quests went in with MOD 7 but in looking it up I was mistaken.
But that being said, can we not agree that to go a year with just that content being added is pretty light. The DDO boards are pretty ripe with people who find more bad with Korthos than good (wonky grouping issues, forcing vets to do it at least once, etc). Persoanlly, I think Korthos is a positive change but I agree with seems to be the majority of comments on the DDO boards that is was a poor allocation of what is obviously limited resources and that the time would have been much better served with mid to high level content instead.
Look, all I am saying is that in the first two years of the game there was MODs 1 - 7, the third year gave players MOD 8. MOD 7 and 8 are not bad, that is not what I am saying - but to not take not of the marked slowdown in MODs and otherwise lacking attention to the game from Turbine is just not acknowledging reality. The lag and server instability, the lack of the new MOD but really more concerning the lack of real info for something that by any definition is quite late and sorely needed. Perhaps vaporware is nto used in connection with MOD 9 in a perfectly textbook context but I think in spirit it fits.

One of Turbines worst moves was going to less Mods per year. They claimed it was due to player response but at the time the boards had not one post asking for less Mods. This allowed them to be late with a little more content per Mod and take longer to get it out. Turbine absolutely treats DDO poorly and their lack of communication is beyond aggrevating. That said I do love the game and the work they do, while limited, is very well done.
I truly hope a different company gets DDO2 and does it in a better setting and gives it the kind of dedication a D&D game should truly have.
As for the NPE and Korthos, the use of limited resources would be ok if they then advertised the hell out of it and got new players to try it in large numbers. All that work ends up wasted if it does not result in new subscriptions.
The intro island in my eyes was truly needed and warranted. Along with that, I have seen a massive influx of newbies in the island the last 2 weeks. It doesnt hurt that Circuit City is going out of business and most of those stores had tons of copies of DDO selling for 50% off. When a computer store the size of Circuit City goes out of business, it helps out games like DDO as people who normally wouldnt have bought it pick it up because it is cheap, and then try it out.

I'm sure your efforts on the LFGame forum aren't hurting either. For every person that you suggest DDO to, there are probably 10 more forum lurkers that read it and decide to try it as well.
Thanks Aganazer, but Sars really does much more for DDO in the LFGames forum than I do. If anyone deserves any kudos for getting new players via that forum, it is Sars not me. I have hit up a few threads here and there.
