Now seriously, both forums have their share of crap. But Forumfall, as every game's official forum, will have people flaming any kind of slight negative approach. Try going to WoW forums and criticize the game.
Who cares what some anonymous shmo posts? You guys should of learned by now to filter out all the useless junk and to pay attention to the relevant posts. Public and anonymous forum means that anyone can post anything, which means a lot of times that anything will be stupid, irrelevant, offensive, abusive or pointless. You can't complain about that, just gotta live with it and ignore it.
The majority of threads I see on the official forums go along the lines of: Newcomer: Can anyone tell me what the combat is like?
Forum Vet 1: STFU Carebear.
Forum Vet 2: <Random expletive-ridden rant, many references to WoW being the devil incarnate>
Forum Vet 3: GTFO '09'er.
Mod: *Locks Thread*. At least here it is entertaining and there is some intelligent discussion amongst the crap.
This is because before 08 the forum was actualy the best forum I had ever posted on.
There was a ton of intelligen discussions going on. sure some of them devolved in flame fests, but that was part of the fun, and most people took it in stride and used it to better themselves and the knowledge of the subject they were speaking on.
then beta signups opened and there was a flood of people, which to most people ruined the forum.

There are alot of people who play mmorpgs, and come to this forum and don't post.
I know quite a few personaly and this site has quite the reputation for being a useless pit of idiocy.
