Where did all this Mythic-bashing come from?

They're catering to it in WAR too which drove out a good portion of their players. They are just skilled at pissing off people and losing customers. I heard bad things about WAR and didn't try it for a while (they huge sales of the game and then near instant player base drop should of been a clue), but I eventually tried it anyways out of boredom. I found ways to make the most of it but it wasn't that interesting of a game. And then they listened to the players who whined and cried enough in e-mails and on their new forums and they randomly rebalanced classes and ruined areas that were working fine. Driving off once again a bunch of their now small player base.

DAoC was fun and had things going for it that no other game did at the time. WAR has nothing unique and it has issues and they keep screwing things up. WAR will never be a big force in MMOs.

Tbh there really is no need to worry about the game being bashed, heck you've got ppl continually bashing WoW and yet that game is raking it in with it's 11 million subs.

Just accept it, some ppl just aren't happy unless they have something to complain about, me included =)

Dude, you have not even begun to scratch the surface for reasons to hate EA.  Here is a good one:

I hate EA but there's really no avoiding the bastards at this point.  They own half the industry now.

One thing EA has a reputatiopn for is ruining games it aquires. Hopefully Mythic gets back to it's roots and fixes Warhammer.

I don't really see much of an increase, Mythic/WAR bashing has been pretty steady since launch, though more people on Spring break may have increased post volume to some extent.

If I were so inclined I'd bash Mythic today for the same reasons that I did at launch. What it really comes to though is they did not create the game I expected them to, and remain disappointed.

Like others have said, no reason to brood over it, I've moved on and continue to find my gaming entertainment elsewhere.

But for what could have been, it would have been glorious.
