I am gonna have to agree cooldowns for guns is epic fail.
If its continuous fire and cooldown big dmg abilities then that it is acceptable.
This is what I'm guessing they'll do, much like Tabula Rasa. Which was a good combat system by the way.

Yes but if youve actually seen the trailers that theyve put out you would know its not going to be continuous fire..
you literally shoot the shot.. put your gundown... then shoot again...put it down..

Yeah it is annoying but maybe they had to change it, and in the future they can adjust it to at least seem more realistic

Don't mind him, the kid doesn't understand the difference between win and fail, he's like the kid you see in elementary school that likes to lower his head and run into things, probably saw a documentary about mountain rams on the discovery channel accidentally and now believes he is one.
I just hope he's school has taken the procaution of making him wear a safty helmet at all times so he doesn't end up injurying himself..

Anyways if the main attack for that long range guns intent is to be 4secs, there are probably other abilities that can be used during the mean time of every shot. But then again we don't even know that yet.
MH needs to open up the beta doors so testers like us can move in and start giving the devs some real impressions and criticism because it seems that the reclusive path they've taken in developing and demonstrating this game in the past has turned it into a bit of an oddity....lol
It's like the first time a european expedition came across a platypus in the newly accuired territory of australia, the creature is so strange all you can do is scratch your head and say WTF??

You cant call a game garbage when it is not even realsed yet. We have hardly seen anything of this game yet. Now i was not impressed by the video and was totaly not what i was expecting but its still so early who knows what it will be like.
As far as WoW with guns that kind of silly since its classed based and again first showing of combat so who knows how it will turn out.

It's amazing how much food you folks gave this troll. Now he is bigger, fatter, meaner and hungrier than ever. And to think when he started he was just a little pathetic monster we could have easily starved.
The ER forums here on MMorpg.com are a joke right now, if you decide not to have any fun with the trolls here that out number the regulars 3 to 1.
You're going to be setting yourself up to be the lonely fanboi in these forums having discussions with yourself, and instead of you usually being the one lured by the trolls, the trolls will be the ones lured by you.
Plus the trolls here are morons, and they can't hide amongst regulars which is one the trolls greatest strengths and weaknesses , yukumo might be a fat troll right now, but he's also one in plain site for everyone to point and laugh at, and as for me personally I see him as a pet, a troll on a leash....lol

Jesus this game looks horrible....
Understanding it is still in deveoplment and the curent movies should be taken with a grain of salt...the entire premise just clashes to much....
Everytime I see screen shots I cringe....the pristine sci fi look next to the suposed "apocolyptic back drop" grossly conflicts...
That and the char portrayed in the movies looks like an over weight fat body....coupled with the return to an up right none tactical standing position after every attack (melee or ranged) just looks horible....
These guys have alot of work to do.....I dont see this game surviving long
Hi welcome the mmo community. All games look like this early in their development. I understand we should be kind to noobs, but this has been repeatedly addressed in this and many other threads, at least read a little before posting, you're not even on topic.
I always thought the godfather was a boring ass movie, I think the forth installment of MGS was a joke (worse than two), and I find candy and sweets disgusting...0o

And on a further note, honestly has the world gone mad, MGS4 was one of the most disappointing games I've ever played...I mean WTF!! I like the idea of Old Snake....but come one!
