Wow you guys are geazers! What the hell are you doing playing video games? Try raising your kids or something....jeez.

Video games are for us 30 year old youngsters.

    j/k

Actually, you guys are probably more in the know of whats "cool" (?) these days than I am, since you have kids and all. It seems every other day my GF and I talk about how out of it we are getting as it comes to pop culture.

As for DnD....(stands up) Hello, My name is Doomsayer...and I am a RPG-aholic. Where's my coin, damnit? Been playing since I was 13, and I still play about once a month with my college gaming group. Most of us still live within an hour or so of each other. I have owned DnD books stemming from the basic DnD of the 70s up to the 3rd edition stuff thats out now from WotC.

Anyways, off to slay the dragon!

Everything born must die. All that is, will come to ruin. This is the essence of Doom. So sayeth the Doomsayer.

I have not played D&D in almost a decade I am sad to say. I started in the late 70's with a group of older Cousin's and was instantly "hooked". We played for many years, in groups of 6 to 10 or so. (Try grouping with family squabbles IRL on top of it all!  lol) Later, I grouped with a large group oif lifelong friends from Jr. High through the first years I was a Police Officer, until relocating to be with my now family. I try to get my RP'ing online, but it will never be the same. Meeting many MANY famous ppl in the RPG genre during a few years of experiencing Gen-Con in the mid 90's. Wow, Role Playing is awesome and I only hope for a future continuing to include it. image At leasdt with online, now having children, I have my computer (center hehe) right in the living room, so I am not leaving the home to meet up with fellow gamers. My son loves watching me play games. The hardest thing is when he is behind me on the XBox asking me to join him, and I often do.  lol  It's all good...  image
