    Well beat me to it yes I noticed that too...but slow down can't sign up yet...coming soon. The end is near I think they will be shooting for the November deadline after all....ready or not here it comes!!!

    Don't hold your breath....as it stands right now the current release sucks goat nuts. Been in since Phase 3 myself.

    My understanding is no MMORPG is finished at release...if it were it would never release. The game has been in Beta since last March how much more time does it need??

    My guess is in around 3-5 days going on the time from the announcement of the stress test to it actually starting.

    Don't get your hopes up to much , while it's announced I think we're still in for a bit of a wait.

    Consider that the only reason, Blizzard made the annoucement was because of the Dec PcGamer magazine ad. They mail subscriptions a few weeks in advance of retail copies so their subscribers can get it first. I'm guessing Blizzard thought they'd have a few weeks before the ad hit retail newstands and they'd have been ready. So don't expect the open beta before november at the earliest.

    Well they placed a full page ad in a major game magizine that say

    visit worldofwarcraft.com and sign up today for open beta.

    Not err come back in awhile and sign up :)

    Then the WoW mods deleted all the posts about the pc gamer ads and reluctantly put up the coming soon announcment late in the day. That tells me they weren't expecting the ad to be in public yet, and got caught with their pants down.
