They'll probably let people download the client before OB starts, to make less stress on the servers when OB actually goes live.

Don't be so harsh on them, my bet is the preview got you mad, I disagreed with some of it, and agreed with some of it(not all the things I disagreed about were the bad things though, some good things he said about the game, I'd argue with.)

Got it in one. The guy made it to level 5... LEVEL FIVE!!!!! and I don't think that put him in any position to criticize/praise/discuss the game. The majority of the stress testers made level 5 within their first few hours of play.
He didn't bother mentioning PvP either, and all the threads being deleted because of EQ2 criticism (which all ends up being called flaming even when it's not) makes me think MMORPG.COM just wants to be EQ2.COM
Maybe they'll get it together a few days into open beta when they realise even old-school MMORPGers are allowed to have fun too.

Open Beta is coming ... and noobs speculations with it... but have no fear .. open beta will come sooner than November. Blizzard has nothing to gain by bringing open beta to the spot lights if it is still weeks away.
No... it's imminent and by the week after next at the latest, we shall be but shadows in the MMORPG.COM WoW forum realm. Stress testers! .. we will be home again!! ... and I want to take this opportunity to thank MMORPG.COM for giving a shelter to us Wow junkies who had nowhere else to go in the past dark weeks.....
