Vanguard is hands down the better of the two games. Vanguard actually feels like a living world whereas EQ2 feels like plastic bubble. If VG had the support that EQ2 has than VG would be a solid AAA MMO title.
The way I see it.....EQ2 is like a pig. You can try to dress it up and put lipstick on it but in the end it is still just a pig.
