Hardly, if you can't beat WoW on release, something which Aion hasn't done, they won't beat it in the coming months either.

Aion won't even dent WoW in Asia.

Blizzard has had it's share of issues with the local distributer there (The9), they seem to be on track and will be back online in 3 weeks with Netease.

CAion (Aion china) is having a lot of issues with botters and the figures they first released were false, there were thousands of botters in those figures.

What the hell are you talking about? Aion already has 3.3 million subscribers in Asia, and WoW just lost 5 million Chinese subscribers, this has been posted several times in the thread.

What the hell are u babbling on about??  Wow lost 5 million subs in china?  WTF are u on about??  Ah just what I thought some johnny no mark chatting crap again.

Well i would say yeah they lost their subs because they are not playing at the moment.

Well see people kepe saying wow has 5 million asian subs, newsflash taiwan players are still playing , probably same like koreans and japanse, so yes infact they are playing.  Chinese may not be playing, but when blizzard start up again i gurantee they will all be flocking back to wow, so lets see wht the retentian rate of aion actually is.

Only reason the Chinese play WoW is so they can get rich off the lazy Americans that buy their way to the top.

Keep telling yourself that.  So then they must all becoming rich from aion then?  Because by all reprts the gold selling spam in the game is huge along with the huge number of bots.  Oh yes thats what I thought you chatting crap.

Oh?  Whats the matter did I strike a nerve?  Poor thing you, it's not my fault that RMT makes business owners in China good money.

China lost 5 mil players for a month because of the dispute doing on after that its back up. heh you can say the only reason aion got off so fast was because they were bored without WoW for a month and decided to give it a shot untill it gets back up

Every company screws someting up with every patch, these games are far too complex for something not to go arwy when you make even minor changes. NCSoft is a solid company, and despite it's detractors, so is Blizzard. I hope AION can provide MMO players with a viable PVE alternative to WoW.

Hi Czzarre, you may have noticed a few posts saying that the AION graphics engine was 5 years old and out dated. The cryengine was just being released around the time blizzard released WoW. If you have played AION in beta or on the Chinese servers you would of seen for yourself the type of quality and performance the cryengine is capable of. It is greatly superior to the engine blizzard developed for WoW. You won't be seeing the type of fps fluctuations and drop offs you see in WoW with this cryengine that AION uses. There is nothing worse for your raid life then a solid 3 fps during combat and your guild master screaming at you for lack of performance in a raid.

What the hell are u babling on about.  Really  first u talking about chinese players playing wow then u lazy americans then rmt.   This shows this site has descended into idiots that think because they can chat crap its true.

"Only reason the Chinese play WoW is so they can get rich off the lazy Americans that buy their way to the top."

So all the chinese players playing aion then, so that must make them all stupid?  So Americans are getting rich of lazy chinese then??  Because by your logic they only play wow to get rich, so then it must hold true for aion.

    Now who is babbling?

News flash, WoW lost 5 milion subs in China. There are still a few other million subs playing in Taiwan/Korea/Japan. Yeah it must be disheartening to realise the majority population of your precious WoW is Asian, while you slander the differences between Eastern and Western gamers...it just makes you look like an idiot.

And what retention rate of Aion are you talking about?...Aion had 3+million subscribers before WoW lost its Chinese players.
