LOL 9216544 I hope your life is full and fun, but don't rule out online gaming for yourself on preconcieved notions. Actually because of my age I feel enjoy a good MMO better, can appreciate the nuances.
Now back to graphics.... Does the Warcraft Graphics enhance or distract from the game??
I really do like the WoW graphics, but I think they could have added some polygons into the characters. The characters seem to have rough unsmooth edges. But the fantasy part of the graphics is awesome.

I hope that my parents never play online games, it would just kill me. You are getting pissed off so dont deny it. You are 12 years older then me and not showing too much maturity yourself. You are just trying to make yourself sound intelligent.
If someone was throwing personal attacks towards you, would you not get flustered over it? Of course I am getting upset, only because I can not stand how people can sit there and judge another person of whom they have never personally met.
Why would the mere fact of your parents playing mmorpg's kill you? Because they were having fun? You really should re-evaluate what matters in life. When I seen my father pick up CoD and seen how much fun he was having that made my day. He busts his @ss all day long in a factory, comes home and has his dinner. Watches a little bit of his nightly T.V. than goes and kills a few germans(thats what he calls it) to release his stress from the day. What is wrong with that?
I could understand your argument if I was a hard-core gamer, playing hours and hours daily without having a job and place of my own. But, I do too have a life and that will never be the case, unless of course I was a teenager again without responsibilities. When I was 14, as you are now, there weren't many games available that interested me. I didn't get my first (own) computer until 2001! Of which, I purchased with my own hard-working money. Why can't I enjoy my time on something that I purchased for myself? I made a career for myself, and how I choose to use my free-time I will do whatever makes me happy.
And thanks for the compliment. I am an intelligent person.

The rough, unsmooth edges are the result of your graphics cards settings. Go into them (usuallly from right-click on desktop, etc.) and turn up anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering. These improve graphics but reduce frames per second.

OK well its good that your dad is having fun. But you dont know my parenets lol, I dont think they ever would play anyways.
I mainly dont think that I couldnt stay with mmorpgs for along time, just because how I have played since EQI. Unless there is a huge difference in the 3rd generation of mmorpgs, they usually are the same. It would just bore me if I played for over 10 years.
Also I am trying to save for a new computer, and I have been working my ass off, between my highschool then working its really hard, and I have barely made any money lol. Just another 1500 dollars to go. But its teaching me to work hard I gues and everything isnt going to be hand fed to me in life.
There is one thing I would like to say about the WoW graphics.
I read somewhere that the people playing in beta didnt even have the possibilitie to play on Max settings. So thats why some things dont look the best they could.

Not exactly m8 but close. You could set the details to max but some of the effects hadn't been implimented. There have been improvements to the graphics as the beta has progressed and i believe they are still adding more textures.
I'd also like to say sorry to 921, i've been on his back some today after a few comments I read on the WoW boards. The thing is mate that you are young, and while its clear that your not stupid you have made some posts (and you know this to be true) that are deliberately ment to wind people up.
You will also understand as you get older that your sig is a bad move. Politics may seem like something just to blindly voice your opinion on now, but I assure you it won't later. I'm guessing that your parents are ardent Bush supporters and that is fine, but everything has its place and having your views on the subject in a sig for a board about games is ... well in my opinion a little off the mark.
*Edit* Oh, and its good to see you learning the value of money, thats something I could have done with learning earlier
Ya lol I already took the sig, it just makes people not like me before they even read my post. But my step dad is a liberal, my mom is an independent, and my dad is a republican, funny huh?
Also I have made some stupid posts I dont know why I did tho lol.

Well I am glad that you are learning the value of a dollar. And I mean no harm when I say that. It will teach you to cherish the things that you do have/own when the time comes. Eventually you will get the money together to get the computer you want and you will be very happy about it when that time comes. I know how it is, trust me. And I myself am saving every extra cent I have to upgrade.
No one knows how games will be in the future, we can only wait and see. I am enjoying my time now, and I hope I will be doing so in the future as well.
