Obviously if this is the forum I read, I will be reading the posts.    Now if those I am replying to here post once in a while, but I still manage to track down the needle of a post in a haystack, you may still have a case for such an abhorant suggestion, but that's not the case.    Those I reply to where I address their constant negative take on every single good thing that is EVER said here, always post there.   They live here.
Message boards are not the best way to communicate, because we lack hearing tone, body language, and such.  I"m sure I may come across in a way I don't mean.  To the extent that's true, I apologize.     There is a thin line between healthy debate, and out right flagrant abuse of the freedom afforded here.   I see a ton of abuse.

I'll repeat what i said in an earlier post:

If someone's behavior appears to be stalking, they should be reported and brought to the site owner's attention, ASAP.

Stalking is a disturbed behavior pattern and it often escalates to worse things.

And for the record, I think that your behavior is stalking ( not hard to come to that conculsion after reading your posts ) and the Mods should have intervened already.

The OP is an obvious troll post and so is your reply.  To claim any starter town lacks NPC's or Mobs is complete and utter misinformation, and the fact so many of you use blatant lies to further troll this forum is shameful.     I'd like one person who believes this person to actually send me a tell in game "China Cat" .   None of you can, because not one of you play this game and know wtf you are talking about.

No we can't because no we don't play the game. Because we are smart and require a higher quality instead of an empty world aka "sandbox." So have fun with that. I wan't developers that actually appear to have put some effort into the game so I'll stick to games were I know I'll get my money's worth.

Calling everyone who has a different view or experience a "troll" is a very trollish thing to do btw.

How can you intelligently comment on a game you don't play?

Look at your signature, of course this isn't a game for you.   It's obvious, and so is your trolling.

How would you feel if a person who never played those those games you enjoy started to post negative remarks on every thread, yet they aren't playing the game and have no first hand clue what they are talking about?   Grow up.

A person who hasn't played the game shouldn't talk about "nail in the coffin" since they don't know at all what the problems of the game are, just what people tell them the problem is.

The part in blue is very odd, coming from someone with a Taru in their sig... Or is there irony there that I'm missing? Maybe I need more coffee.

That said - whether the statement was meant ironically or not - it is something that I've seen other say, and it's a pretty bad generalization.

People do not fit neatly into little boxes like that. You *can* like a MMO like FFXI and also enjoy a FFA PvP MMO as well. I speak from personal experience as well as from that of several friends of mine and people I"ve met over the years in different MMOs.

We simply play each game for its strengths... I play FFXI because it has amazing storylines and cut-scenes (as only SE can deliver), interesting areas, tons to do, a great job system, etc... I play Lineage 2 because I enjoy the PvP-centric gameplay, the clan/ally politics, the sieges, etc... I love the group dynamic in mass PvP, I enjoy playing my Blade Dancer, and so forth.

Liking one does not exclude the other.

A person who plays SB should like DFo.  A person who plays FFXI should not like DFo.  Very very scientific conclusions based on ... err I don't know.

How about a person who plays both SB and FFXI.  Should he like DFo?  Or should he ask you to decide for him whether he likes it or not?

Guys, we have an additional prerequisite to play DFo.  You must not like DFo, or you are not going to enjoy DFo.  So says the know-all god-like ominiscient ... somebody.

I ve played and liked FFXI, DAOC, SB, UO, LOTRO, EQ2, COH, PS, wide range of games, Guess what I hated DFO.  Theres no if you like FFXI you won t like DFO, some people like a wide range of games like me. DFO is simply sub par and run by scammers. Nothing more I can say. To any of you fanbois, don t bother saying you have no idea what you re talking about. I was looking forward to DFO as much as you were and probably could have been considered a fanbois before release. Simply put DFO is a bad game in almost all aspects.

The difference between him and you is that you've played good Sandbox/Simulator games. A person who has only played Themepark games and doesn't like FFA PvP (which appears to be his number one complaint) won't like DFO at all.

Again.. the first part of that statement (in blue) per the conclusion you come to, is 100% wrong.

You do not and can not know that and, again, people do not fit so neatly into little clearly-labeled categories like that.

Just because someone has only played one type of game before does not mean they can not like another.
