selling an alpha version of a game for top dollar that barely anyone has played and is around 6 months from release is the biggest game scam i think i have ever heard of.

    let's see:

    1) the game doesn't have a wide variety of screenshots & gameplay videos that proves it even exists

    2) beta reports of a largely empty game with tons of features missing & laggy combat

    3) 6 months+ from release

    4) developer running out of money

    5) very high price charged upfront

    = high probability of scam/deception.

Of coarse, taking poeople's money 6 months before the game is finished and releasing it early, with nearly 70% of the promised content missing is OK..?

There are more people beta testing Mortal Online, than playing that Fisher Price Darkfall.

C'mon Javec, you can troll better than this...   or did Tasos forget to pay you this week?  Did they spend all their money on the NA servers ? Why are you so interested in this game, if DFO is the bets game you've ever played... shouldn't you be playing it right now ...?

"No they are not charity. That is where the whales come in. (I play for free. Whales pays.) Devs get a business. That is how it works."

Sure, I would agree if the developers were not, and have not been completely upfront about what they are testing, and what you are buying. Your 1-5 has already been discussed, and they have very good reasons, only the uninformed, or the simply stupid wold worry about such things AND preorder. Good thing all of it is posted on the website.

Its only a scam, if its a lie, IE: Darkfall.
