Ok, as someone joining the US Marines, going to college for politcal science, and actually has been to the middle east. 85% of the quotes you hear from the bush people is completely false. If we (The United States) were to get involved in another conflict, even just UN support to stop the extremly dangerous situation in Africa right now, we would indeed need to reinstate the draft to keep any presence in our middle eastern bases, europe and south asia. Let alone have any National Guardsmen within the united states(Which btw is so low China would be in control the west coast to texas before we could mount a defense). Do not believe what those comercials tell you, research the facts, you will be very suprised how scary this situation actually is.

Ok I am middle eastern, Iranian actually. My dad is 100% iranian and my mom is american. So by having someone in my family who has lived in Iran for 20 years, he knows more about how it is there then you do. Ever since Bush sent troops to Iraq, they have been protesting against their government. They see that it is possible to get a democracy, and get rid of these dictators in the middle east. You would be suprised how many middle easterners support Bush and his actions on Iraq. All of my family supports him, the ones in America and Iran.

Dude i was born in Iran and i know what your saying. Sadam was indeed a mad man who needed to be taken out long before and some silly americans say it was for the oil HAHA Bush not only took away a big big threat and soporter of terrorism but he liberated Iraq and is helping them to grow i mean come on now why arnt ALL nations helping us. I reaLy like bush and i think the world needs to liberate
Iran also because its a big threat to the world. Im an American citizen and i honestly dont like saying im Iranian cuz i left that country when i was seven and if i go back right now to visit family they would put me in the army or kill me because im Christian. People dont vote for kerry just because the mentality of some Americans is (anyone but Bush) he will weaken this nation.

The Iranian protests you heard about on the news, which actually was happening  before the troop build up in iraq and has died down since and had nothing to do with the united states. Actually now that the US holds two countries boardering Iran Im not suprised they started researching nuclear weapons.

Yeah Saddam was a bad man but was he a threat to the United States? Absolutely not. And for anyone to come on here and say what most Irtanians want is just stupid. None of us know what most Iranians want. And I'd also like to here what terrorist orginization Saddam was supporting. If you say Al Qaeda im going to puke. Even Bush has said theres no connection. Though thats not what he said before leading us into war. Bushs work in Iraq is extremely flawed. No doubt about it. Imo, I think it's time for a change.

Dude, i know you hate the rest of Middle East, but you should know Bush  sent troops for oil. OIL,OIL,OIL   got it? It has nothing to do with terrorism, its just a stupid pretext to brainwash US citizens and Marines. DO you really think the Marines are doing the right thing? of course not! unfurtunately most of the marines there are just poor brainwashed 18-20 year people.

This war is just as stupid as the Vitnam War.

    Lets see US War records:

WWII= The good people, they stopped tyrany in Europe and aided the countries

Vietnam= The EVIL, they killed women and kids, they dropped napalm in towns, because of US, Vietnam is full of people with cancer. Nixon is an asshole. He told he will support the soldiers in Vietnam, just lies, their "hospitals" were in really bad conitions, Vietnam veterans wanted to stop the war, what did Nixon do? kick them. I know US wanted to stop communism, but Vietnam chose communism cuz their people wanted, farmers who wanted independence from France, IMO they were the good people. I mean, you MUST fight for your independence and ideas.

Iraqk= The ambitious. A stupid war for oil. It seems US wants to take over the world.

So, we are going from heroes, to evil to ambitious......if we keep going like this US will want to take over the world. WOuldnt it be like Rome or the NaZi?

We really need to change this, thats why im with Kerry

Most teens don't even care about politics and have no clue what's going on beside the gossips and chit chat from their parents... They don't have the economical and political knowledge to discuss about it. There's a reason why you can't vote, an obvious reason.

Actually most of the teens in my High School discuss politics alot. Myself I don't care much. Teachers always say "you can make a difference!" Bull, politics just makes me angry if I know too much. The way it appears to me, Bush is a dumbass and Kerry is too anti-war, even though recently he's been saying he's not. I think we're screwed either way. Therefore, I would vote Nader!!!

    oh dear

That's exactly what Charlie Chaplan's mistress told him and some friend at a Party in New York in 1937. Everyone said the same thing: Ah Nazis!  They're no threat here! Besides some of their philospohies are romantic and noble.

Chaplain, was utterly against their discussion and was laughed out of the party. Matter of fact is was because of the discussion that "everyone didn't see the threat here in the U.S. that Chaplain made a film on the dangers of racism. That filmed was called The Great Dictator.  Here's a little tidbit from that:

"Half-way through making The Great DictatorI began receiving alarming messages from United Artists. They had been advised by the Hays Office that I would run into censorship trouble. Also the English office was very concerned about an anti-Hitler picture and doubted whether it could be shown in Britain. But I was determined to go ahead, for Hitler must be laughed at." However, by the time The Great Dictator was finished, Britain was at war with Germany and it was used as propaganda against Hitler.

Im sorry but I find your quote disturbing and very wrong.  However it is very much in lines what Kerry would say anyways.

There is no need to state your opinion why or start an arguement on your opinions or talking crap about one or the other

Where are the damn weapons Bush was whining about?

Lol. With only having looked at the first and last posts of this thread, I thought the above statements to be a little interesting...

Whoever thinks invading Iraq was necessary watched CNN too much. Yes, Sadam was a dictator, hence a bad man... but what are you going to do? Invade every countries under a dictator? Iraq was in only laic country in this part of the world! Now that US invaded the place, they'll have to let the majority run the country and if I remember well, those would be Chiites(spelling?) and they are muslims! They will, in fact, be allied with Iran, who would be very happy to launch of nuclear bomb over Israel. These days, err even months, there is an average of 44 deads per day! The situation over there is more chaotic than ever and the US troops are slowly losing control. 44 deads per day damn it! You call this freedom? Come'on, a month ago 54 KIDS died in one bombing! All that for what? LIES! Bush said : They got WMDs! LIE! They are connected with Al Qaida! How many countries inhabit Al Qaida members? Over 140! Are you going to invade them all?!? Where's the limit of protective wars? No benefit of doubt? Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11! The war in Iraq had nothing to do with the war against terrorism. Hell, how can someone believe you could win a war against terrorism? Terrorism isn't a country, isn't a fixed group of people. Geez Drug Wars are a form of terrorism, and there are plenty on the US territory! How many people are murdered every year in your own territory? I'm pretty sure it's over 20 000! Can you stop everyone who is violently against an ideology? Sorry but if you think so, you're one big fool. If Bush is reelected, I bet US will invade Iran. Damn, even Bush thinks he's doing some kind of Divine Mission image which is exactly what terrorists think they are doing with their Holy War. Religion has always been against any rational thinking : Do what God says is good and don't do what he says isn't! And both Bush and Bin Ladin are based on that, but different religion! Not to forget all the Carlyle and Haliburton stuff we've heard of! I feel some people are voting against Kerry and not for Bush, and that's just insane! I can't believe this clown is going to be President for 4 more years.

I respect your opinion, but I have to disagree with you.

Hussein was a threat. Hitler never did anything overtly to us yet we went to war against him.
