I always get attracted to cultures different than mine, i don't care even if they do not AMERICANIZEEE it. I would still play AION since i am not a stuck up sob.

I do like the NPC's speaking english and the quests being in english, as i cant read or speak korean. But there is a reason it sounds, looks and feels asian. Its because its asian
Those that dont like the art or the way it sounds should perhaps look for something they like better. As ive stated on other threads, the trolls can trash this game until sept. 22 and i will stil be at best buy picking up my preorder.

Furthermore, the hundreds of thousands of people who come to the US every year from other countries must have a reason for wanting to live here. Also, of all the countries on this planet, name me one that is as diverse across the width and breadth of their nation as America is. People say we do not have our own culture. Well duh. How can we? We are made up of all the other nations and races. Where else can so many nations live together and live as peacefully as we do here in America? Name me one. You can't because it doesn't exist but here. America truly is a melting pot of all the world and you know what...that is what makes us great. Our own ability to set aside certain things and allows us to come together as a nation of many nations and work together. So again...tell me again how America is a bad place. How America has committed such gruesome atrocities that would garner such hate from other nations. You're so keen at pointing the finger at Americans - then explain what it is we did that makes us deserve this. I am listening.

Unfortunately,morons like the one who started this thread is one of the causes of this hatred.Instead of using the word "westernized" he used the word "Americanized" which implies a version only for your country.I know it's stupid but things like that can end up ugly and we are seeing it.
There are also lots of stigmatas and scars from past and present which will take centuries to heal.US corporate greed plays a major part in that too and don`t forget the medias which are powerful tools for information/disinformation/propagandas.
There's a military base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean,the people who lived there were forced to live their houses & homeland and now this place is a restricted area.Both US and British Government are guilty but people will always see the Americans as the one who took thier land because they are the ones who are there
The way individuals see,perceived or experienced things will always be different depending on where they are standing in a typical situation.Due to my field of work I have met lots of people from different horizons including lots of US citizens.Some are good some are less good as there are in any other countries.
Us being the world hate magnet is the sum of various things but the one and unfortunate thing which amplifies that is that the world is divided into 3 parts,North America,Europe and the rest of the world...sad but true.

You fail at reading. Every invention is a chronological process and includes collective work of many individuals. The history of computer invention starts back in 3000 BC. I was born and raised in Italy. I moved to the states when I was 18. I've been here for 10 years now. I love my home country of Italy, Italians are the best people in the world. Rome > You. When I was younger I would visit France and Britain, Germany, etc...and they were full of jackasses.
America? Not such a bad place. Looking back on 10 years I can honestly say that the people here are a lot nicer and more accommodating. Sure you have your idiots who open their mouths about a certain country, religion, race, or what have you, that they have no knowledge of, but guess what? Those kinds of people live EVERYWHERE...I see some in this very thread.
I lived in London for 6 months because my dad was a project engineer and I can honestly say I remember a lot more racism going on in school and in the streets then I've seen here in the states.
You all(non-Americans) act like your countries are full of intelligent, non-ignorant people when we all know that is not the case. You all just jump on the bandwagon in bashing America because it's the "it" thing to do among the young, impressionable, and moronic.
However, ask any businessman, ask any actor, musician, artist, any kind of entertainer and fashion designer and the likes and they will tell you that success is determined by whether or not you are big in America.
You want to act like you're superior to Americans? Go ahead. However, it would be very hypocritical of you to do all this American bashing, yet play American games, watch American television and movies, listen to American music, and eat your McDonalds while doing so.

Upon further reading of this thread and further thinking of other countries who have a weird hate towards America, I'd like to add that not only are those posters who bash America French, but they are probably British as well...possibly a few Norwegians thrown in the mix. For some reason the French and British have had it out for America ever since they became the global power. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that most French have little man syndrome, Napoleon anyone? And I'm sure the British aren't so thrilled to have been defeated by a bunch of farmers.

Internet: Networked PC's? Sure American, but what we know to be the "internet", aka the WWW, was British invention (Tim Berners-Lee) and without that internet would still be just a military/hobbyist tool
