    Funcom definately.

SOE would be number one. No games they have had controle over since EQ1 have really had much success. It seems SOE doesn't care much for their MMO community and just shove whatever crap at the players and expect them to take it.

Funcom would be number two. I never cared much for their games....but after AoC, I will never care to purchase any MMO with their name on it.

None come to mind, yes some have made a few crap games but meh so what, so long as games keep getting produced I know that I'l be getting a fresh fix of MMO fun sooner or later, rather that than playing the same old boring crap year in year out "Yawn"

I have had good and bad experiences with every major publisher/developer. If I were to write off an entire company because of one bad experience, like so many people claim to do here, I wouldn't be playing -any- games right now - hell, I wouldn't be buying -anything- anymore. I'm also starting to get a little tired of the overly predictable SOE blame bandwagon - same goes with the EA haters. Just get over the fact that mistakes were made. Instead, there seems to be this prevailing attitude that these companies are "out to get ya" like the boogeyman or something and steal your money. Ridiculous.

SOE, Funcom, and Aventurine.  So disappointed with these companies.

#1 Funcom (AoC hype and lies...and continued lying)

#2 Obsidian (NWN2 - it makes AoC bugs look like a polished game)

#3 Sony (They just don't seem to be a company that cares)

In turn you should get over the assumption that many of us haven't "gotten over it". Just because someone won't buy from a company doesn't mean they haven't gotten over the event that caused them to take such a stance. I don't spend my days and nights and my forum time pining about ways to bring SOE down for their NGE mistake. When someone asks if I'd ever buy from them again, I say no. That's the fact.

If you went up to a hotdog stand to buy a hotdog and the vendor punched you in the eye after you bought the hotdog, would you go back the next day? From the way you talk, you would. that's cool. Personally, I'd find a new hotdog stand.

If a company made a product besides an MMO and acted like this, I wouldn't givr them my business, either.

right now, funcom is the only one i can think of, that has disapponted me enough to never buy another game from them.

I judge each game that I play by my experience with that game. A Developer or publisher has nothing to do with how I enjoy the game that I`m playing (and neither do other peoples opinions for that matter). I`m not a fan of Funcom (some issues I had with AoC), but I wouldn`t disreguard their product if it was of good quality.

Not boycotting any developer or publisher. I am on the other hand highly sceptical to most of them. Learned the hard way to ignore the hype machine. They are full of bullshit all of them. Rather see the games for myself.

Oh, and NEVER buy a game at release or preorder anything. Even the really good developers pull bullshit moves now and then, Bioware and Mass Effect patching as one example.

I'm not gonna lie and say I'd never buy another game from any company. You know as well as I do that when the holy grail MMO comes out you'll buy it and so will I, no matter who makes it.

Funcom will never get another penny of mine.

I would like to say SOE but unlike funcom I do think SOE has the ability to make a quality MMO so I would still probably play an SOE MMO. They just need to pull their heads out of their arse.

Waiting for:EQ-Next, ArcheAge (not so much anymore)
    Now Playing: N/A
    Worst MMO: FFXIV
    Favorite MMO: FFXI
