1/5 At first I thought it was exposing, sly bastards. The truth is, they are leading the "awake" astray. And I know that for a fact.

My second favorite movie of all time =D

    They Live... tough one.

There are certain movies I've watched for the first time while I was ridicously high in my younger, wilder days and that was one of them. This movie made me laugh so hard my sides split. 4/5.

Then I saw it while not buzzed and realized the lead was Rowdy Roddy Piper, the acting was terrible and the ending was SO bad with that chick with the weird looking eyes. It was like a cult movie. I'd give it a zero, but the lowest we are allowed to rate is 1 so... 1/5

So based on both times I watched it, I give it a 1.5

    City of God 5/5

    Groundhog Day 5/5

    District B-13 5/5

They Live... I really want to see this again.. have it in my Tivo search list. It's kinda like a cult movie so bad acting wouldn't bother me. I just remember it being cool.

    Good movie - 4/5

    Now for something very special.

I know there are a lot of Criuse haters in the world, but put aside your hate for a second and rate the movie on the acting and story.    This is one of my all time faves simply because I think it best defines the mythical Vampire.   I think Cruise and Pitt did excellent in this movie as did the very young Dunst.    All of them played their parts awesomely.

BTW - They Live gets a 4.8 from me and is one of my all time faves.    Some peolple say the acting was bad,  I did not see bad acting - in fact it was quite good in my opinion considering it was a B movie.    The fight scene by Roddy and Keith is without a doubt one of the best fights ever in a movie as well.

They Live Fight Scene <<< clicky watch this.

Plus one of the best lines ever uttered in a movie is from Roddy when he goes into the bank.

"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum. "  - Nada (Roddy Piper)

I watched that movie a few months ago on video.google.com...I didnt know what the title was or what it was about initially but I found it rather fun and the fighting scene is hilarious and sad at the same time . Those alies are looking so evil! :P  And the black man is a very charismatic and yumm guy, darn :)

    Good choice ^^

Contact, with Jodie Foster, from somewhere in the 90's

I really loved this scene where she met her passed father, who still called her nickname...really emotional which is great in a sci-fi movie I think, love the combination :)

The 4 or 5 seconds of Halle Berry made the movie. 3/5. I thought the parts of it were too unbelievable (body in the fridge, one guys running all those screens, the setup action fights)

Travolta wasn't bad though as a psychopath.

2.75/5 for Seventh Seal. Didn't like it too much. I would have read a book about it before I saw the movie if there was one and I knew about it.

    Best line:

MacReady: Any way we can we fix it?

    Garry: It's "gone", MacReady.

5/5 for the remake of The Thing.

Probably one of my favorite horror movies of all time:

This is a sequence of characters intended to produce some profound mental effect, but it has failed.

3.5 for Hellrasier.  This was the only horror film I remember somewhat enjoying on a Halloween horror marathon.
