     Seriously?

I thought that movie (and the series) were absolutely fantastic.  I'd give that movie a 6/5.

    Hocus Pocus 1.5/5 (sorry Teala : )

I read that the scene shown in your image above didn't go off as exactly planned.

Willem DeFoe was supposed to have these tiny charges exploding blood packs on his chest to similate bullet strikes. But Stone said the charges malfunctioned, but because the scene was still so powerful, it was pretty much the signature shot of the film, and no one noticed one bit. If you watch it again, you'll see DaFoe's body jerking as if he's getting hit but there's no actual "shots".

Great movies and great actors can take you right past things like technical glitches.

    5/5 for Platoon.

    The Razor's Edge.

(I'm pretty sure that Teala is probably the only person other than myself here that has not only seen this, but actually enjoyed it, lol)

OMG how do you know this?  I love this movie.   5/5   Bill Murray did a great job on this moive and it is way under rated.   Go watch this movie if you ever get the chance and haven't seen it all ready.

Lord of the Flies - 1990 version.    How many people know the movie used no script?   It's true, the director told the actors what the scene was about and then let them ad lib.

Lord of the Flies 4.5/5.  Great subject matter, should be required viewing for anyone who plays Eve Online.

By the way I too am a big fan of the Razor's Edge.  This brings to mind two films that I like so much that I'm going to post them both:

This movie is not only a great comedy, but (I believe) an allegory about searching for enlightenment  through many reincarnations.  Anyone who has studied eastern religious traditions might see the examination of standard "pitfalls" on the path to Nirvana.

    Simply brilliant.

Ground Hog Day 5/5  - Why because as Enk said it is an allegory and brilliantly directed and played.   Another must watch.

Lost in Translation 5/5 - This movie is one of my all time faves as well.   Scarlett J and Murray pull this off despite the age differences.   Life really tosses a curve ball now and then and we sometimes wonder if we did the right thing for ourselves...another must watch movie - the end will bring tears to your eyes.    :p

    We Were Soldiers

    3/5 we were soldiers
