Did anyone else enter the Halloween contests? (pic of my entry)

I'm curious if anyone took the time to enter the Halloween contests.  With no open beta, I thought it was a fun way to keep myself from going bonkers.  I entered the costume contest as a Night Elf rogue.  I didn't want to share my photo until after the submission period was up.  Since it ended at 11:59 pst, I thought I'd post a link to the photo I submitted.

I was going to enter the pumpkin one, but I got lazy and ended up not doing it.  Blah.

P.S. ~ How long did it take you to paint yourself?

Luckily I found some purple pressed powder at a dollar store.  It was with the regular makeup strangely enough.  I had to apply it fairly heavily, so that probably took me about an hour altogether if you include the facial tattoos.  Maybe an hour and a half.

An hour, wow.  I probably would have said "Forget this" and tried something different, or carved a pumpkin.

But then again Im too lazy to even try either.  Heh.  Oh well, guess Ill be supporting Blizzard with my $50.

I dunno.  I guess it just doesn't seem like a long time to me.  I've always been into costuming so it's a labor of love.  I was actually wishing I hadn't gotten impatient and tried to spend more time on the makeup.  I probably could have made it look better.

Nah, I think it looks fine, the purple at least.  The black could be a little darker, would make the tattoos look better.  Other than that I think you did a great job.

i should just send em a everyday picture of me :P my guild mates all think i look like one of the undead in the game...ie tall, thin, scarred and tattooed :P oh and dont forget the dreads :P

Best costume I've seen so far, I'm sure you're in the running.  Bet there's a boatload of pumpkins this time though.

The pumpkin wasn't hurt by the way, at least that's how I like to see it   **wonder if they would have accepted a turnip?

 I asked my friend for her to be a night elf but she wanted to be Frank from Donnie Darko. And i certainly wasn't going to make a costume, too cheap .

 Anyways, great costume Moukin. You will definitley get nominated.

Got the daggers...they just didn't photograph all that visibly.  You should be able to see them if you look close.

As far as the panther goes..... ....maybe not a good idea.

I just wanted to share, actually.  They're not going to post all the entries on the website, just the best ones.  So, in the case that I don't get chosen, I still want to share what I made.  I was also curious if anyone else entered and wanted to encourage them to post pics of their entries as well.

and if u dont get chosen then mayb blizzard is stupid....i think thats by far the best costume ive ever seen....mayb its cuz i love War3 but w/e btw my buddy can hook u up with a panther if u need it :cough:  *runs to the zoo, grabs cage keys, and goes to town*

You just didn't really have anything to add to the thread.  Although I'm starting to wonder if very many people entered the contests.  I was actually hoping to see some pumpkin entries or other costumes. 

Instead, you basically accused me of fishing for compliments which wasn't my intent at all. 

So, to restate the purpose of this thread:  I'm curious if anyone else entered the Halloween contests and if you care to post your entries?
