    I agree with Terminus.

Simply put, if they relase the game as it is (at its current rate of improvement) in 45 days (end of the year) as thier 2nd release schedule suggests, a large number of people who purchased the game will not resub after the first month.

No trolling even needed, Im just warning potential investors (because thats what they are at this point).

Really? What do you really know ...

They have made lots of progress only the last month. I recommend people to stay tuned and follow this game closely the upcoming weeks. There are a lot that is done that they just need to patch in.

Maybe that's true, and maybe it isn't. If it isn't actually in the game yet, how would we know? How would you know? Are you just taking their word for it?

Do you honestly believe that there is a miracle patch around the corner? I think I have heard that pack of lies before...

To be fair to SV though, this is lies coming from the fanboys, not the devs. In fact the devs have publicly admitted that MO "will probably be on the top 3 of "incomplete" MMO's ever released"

According to a few beta leak sites and 1 in particular with daily leaks, the game is in a very poor state, and needs atleats another years worth of development.

You have to read the whole text and also the link where he actually explain what he means by saying so. First, the whole sentence is ...

"The game will probably be on the top 3 of "incomplete" MMO's ever released if you're talking about "polish", "user friendly" or "unexploited potential"."

But to really understand what he means you need to read both posts made by Mats Persson. First, the one you refer to but more important click on the link at the end of Mats post  and read also that post. The second post explains it all.

It is good if you try at least to be honest.

Regarding the User Friendly/GUI (Mats comment), they have already doing great progress there regarding user friendly after last patch. And I know lots of improvements are coming soon. They have a person now focused only on GUI only. More improvements will come. And the games get more polished for every patch. So, this is typical Star Vault trying to be as honest as possible and rather promise to little than to much. We know already what Funcom and AV did.

FYI, calling someone a fanboy isn't an argument for anything.

as a previous person said, most things are place holders until they get the systems where they want them. The game is playable atm, but balance is an issue (ranged is lacking, 2h weaps op, plate armor kind of ridiculous dmg reduc)

but as the devs have stated this is an ever evolving game that they are going to keep open ended and improve/change where/when needed. They put out very good patches frequently that bring certain things in and fix other things.

I feel this game will be like Eve where it just needs a little support and time to become an extremely good, long lasting game. It has the potential and it seems the devs put the time in to get things up to snuff.

should they release by end of year? I dont think they should and probably everyone will agree that has played it but its still playable if they do. it will just have to be a matter of retention because of the things mentioned above.

This is the closest game ive found to UO which is the reason I am going to play and support it. If you are looking for a pre-tram uo like first person with very nice graphics this is the game for you. if you are looking for a WoW clone that gives you a cookie-cutter everything and holds your hand, this isnt the game for you.

The game is still deep in beta, with some features introduced but no full game yet. It is playable, but if you come from it with a 'I want to have fun' expection then I would advise to wait until after launch, as all games have their problems.

So if you look for something to play and favor Darkfall then better play that for now until MO has added more features and content.
