Trying to get a complete list of action games

I am not really looking for descriptions but if you want to feel free to provide them.
I am just wanting to know if theres games I may have forgotten/not heard of that are action/twitchy based game room or mmorpg games...

Theres another 3rd person shooter GunZ type game I just don't remember what its called... its flashier ..... and has better hit registry maybe.... someone remind me what its called?
If there are any ones I am missing please let me know, and they don't have to be free either they can be p2p/b2p but please only action/twitch games like those listed above.

Just put it up there yesterday. Very interesting not-quite-a-wargame more-than-a-shooter not-really-an-RTS sorta-like-a-tank-sim from TwoWar.

But Blitz is just out (2 weeks approx.) and the peeps are lovin' it (there is an issue with higher-level XP curve but I'm hoping they will adjust soon).

specify it to multiplayer or single player games, specify it to character data hosted on closed servers or open/private servers, specify it to massivelly multiplayer games or room based games, specify it to free to play games or pay to play games, specify it to...

the action games would be multiplayer, private or public data hosting, doesn't really matter, and can be room based or an mmorpg. When im referring to action games I am referring to those with a twitchy element... for example risk your life 2 would not count because even thought u set your reticle on a target, you're not aiming and its all stat based/gear.
P2P or F2P it does not matter

Heres the new list I got so far.... didn't include some of the suggestions because of auto-attack etc, also removed the FPS's excluding GunZ and the MMOFPS's please only suggestion MMOFPS's if it is an FPS unless its got a heavy action based part as well... ill leave the Tank games too since those aren't technically FPS's and they are kind of different.

Some of those games arent even MMOs. You might as well put every FPS on there if you have games like the Jedi Knight series.
well yeah, the FPS's need to be taken off because they don't count, Jedi Knight however has an extremely heavy emphasis on the lightsaber/force powers especially in multiplayer mode as well
But yeah no more FPS suggestions please unless their MMOFPS or have a lot more than guns involved such as Jedi Knight, ill go ahead and keep GunZ though.

I thought of Jedi Knight because of all the saber and power only servers. Sure there was an FPS part of it but there was a large chunk of people that played duels with only sabers and force powers, and is also in the 3rd person mode, which is just an action game by that point.
Depends. Games like Gears of War 2 and, self-proclaimingly Divergence (which you should put on the list btw, as it's also an MMO) are just Third Person Shooters.
Games like the Jedi Knight series, Fort Zombie, etc are action-RPG/action-adventure type games. =]

Alright heres the updated list again, keep em coming, yeah these can be room-based games too, not strictly MMO, and it can have guns but just like Jedi Knight they shouldn't be simply first person shooters.

Nowhere does it say "mmos only" in the OPs post.
The JK series is very much action based. It would be one thing if Quake or CoD were on the list but the Jedi Knight series is nothing like those games. As a matter of fact the JK series is still the only game to get twitch based melee play right.
