Dogs and old people. Well... That might not be that bad actually. Spelling and puncutation are sure to improve. Rational, flowing thoughts may improve as well.

Yeah. I have never liked toon. Same with Twink. I remember when I first started playing EQ, and had come over from a MUD... They just seemed like stupid names. I have always used Character or avatar.

Not quite sure I see how this is an "epic" fail. They had a bug (bet there's more than one) in the code that launched recently that was difficult to reproduce in the test environment consistently, so they went ahead and launched with it knowing that if it was really an issue it would quickly manifest itself and be easier to track down.
There's really a problem here? While we try to avoid this at my own firm sometimes you just have to launch and fix things in production when they crop up because no test environment can ever really replicate the challenges the production env. presents.
Now, when they shipped out that expansion a few years back that destroyed the operating system of everyone who was running Vista, now that was a bug worthy of a mention.

You got a serious issue mate......Everyone who posted in your thread disagrees with you, so it seems either you're just over-reacting, or else MMORPG.com has become "The Land of the Eve Fanbois". Even Blizzard released updates in the past with bugs they know about but aren't able to fix. It's just a fact that in all kinds of Software Development, nothing can be done perfectly nor bug free mate. Hope you understand now, how this is something incredibly insignificant, since we've seen every MMO have an issue like this.

So. The Epic Fail is a quest(ahem. Mission) that doesn't release allocated memory once completed if a certain really strange condition is met? Please, there are worse post patch errors everywhere else "across the board" from all MMO's both big and small.

It's not like it's a new thing either, there where loads of problems with exploration sites not despawning back when exploration where introduced, annoying but not overly important. There where an outmined grav site that stayed for 2 weeks close to where I lived in Venal.
They managed to fix most of the problems over time but is seems it creept back again.

Well, you're wrong.
The bug was reported by different parties on singularity. All exploration related sites were not despawning.
It got rolled out to tq in this state. People upgraded their systems, but none of the upgrades worked. Gradually, every single upgraded system became stuck. No despawn means no respawn.
So yes, it's a rather epic fail. It would be like mission agents giving you empty bookmarks. It should've never happened in the first place.
Just to make this clear. Since dominion, exploration in 0.0 does not work anymore. The entire system distributing ded plexes, mini profession sites, anomalies and mining sites has stopped working correctly.
I told you that Dominion will be fail, fail for the same reasons QR and Apocrypha failed.
The amount of testing time that was spent on sovereignty changes was awfully low.
Sure, some minor bugs will slip through but this is not the case. This is a major bug in major expansion feature and all due consciousness decision to release the expansion the way it was - doing the bug fixing on production server instead of test server.
I really don't know what is happening with CCP but they do shitty job lately. It might be economical pressure, who knows but it does not make the game better.
