simple, make your PC case air tight and fill it with water... should work a treat.. or replace the heat-sink with some ice cubes... or go to the north or south pole and plug it in there then with really long ethernet, mouse, keyboard and VDU cables connect it to your home... due to the distance wireless is not an options.

And lmao. The North Pole huh? Sounds like a blast!

And yes i will be putting thermal paste on there with a new CPU fan as well

xigmatek makes the best bang for buck coolers. simple design...just a huge radiator...but thats why they work so well. in a antec 900 you should be able to fit it easily.

It's shouldn't be your case.  The Antec 900 is one of the best stock air cooled cases on the market.  The fans have variable speeds, so turn them up to high... especially your top exhaust fan.  Make sure your supply fans aren't having their airflow completely blocked via harddrives, cables, etc.

What are the temps on your GPU(and what type) under full load?  If they are abnormally high its likely an airflow problem in your case... otherwise its definitely a CPU cooler issue.

If your GPU is running at normal temperatures... then you know its a CPU cooler problem.  Get an aftermarket cooler and some quality thermal paste.  Other people can make suggestions on what type of cooler, it really doesn't matter unless you plan on overclocking... they'll all cool sufficiently at stock values.  But definitely get a quality thermal paste like Artic Silver.

There are some "how to" videos on youtube showing how to properly remove and apply thermal paste to a cpu.  Make sure you know what your doing.
