No.

You are stating that DA:O is a bad game because you do not like the playstyle.
Please realize that because you do not like something does not mean it is bad.
Hell, I don't like vanilla ice-cream... I think it's boring. Although millions of other people like it and I'm OK with that. It's still good ice-cream.

Well, if you went out and bought the game without doing research on the gameplay either by youtube videos or a review, then more fool you sir. The smart thing to have done (and what i do) is to watch videos of how the game plays, and read the storyline behind the game, as this is an RPG that is high up on the check list. The cutscenes are there to develop the storyline by visuals, the characters in the cutscenes talk with emotion in the voice acting which is vital to listen to when making valuable decisions in dialogue; also adding to the roleplay feel of the game. The cutscenes are a very interesting part of the game for me, without it I would be running around doing pointless quests.
Really sir, if you didn't do your homework before purchase or the company promised you something you didnt receive. Well there isnt much room for you to complain at all... Also to add, the 'Dragon Age is crap' opinion, is exactly that, an opinion. I think differently, and many sites have rated the game with 9.5's+.... but once again opinions. I don't see why you posted this?... im failing to see your gain...
The game was hyped up. I post this here for the same reason, people post possitive reviews on this site.

Dragon Age is not a MMORPG. It's a RPG. There is a difference. The storyline and adventure is the focus. I haven't actually played Dragon age (yet), but I hear it's suppose to follow in the footsteps of Baldur's gate. I think i'll have to get my hands on it soon.

Damn the shooting in this FPS is overdone, I shoot way to often. This game sucks, I hate shooting.
People buy a game to play the game. Your comparing folks not liking cut scenes to not liking shooting in a shooter is not even close. If you buy a shooter you want to shoot things.

You spend most of the time in Cut Scenes, then you do actually playing. Yes cut scenes add immersion, but in this case, it is largely over done. And the combat doesnt even make up for this. I could maybe understand if it did, but thats not the case here.
You're a liar, how far are you? Ostagar?
It's a BioWare game, it's not made for ADD chair spinning twats. The combat is strategic, pause and play. If you're board, play it on hard, I don't think you can handle it though. hyped or not sir, if you didn't do the research then don't complain? just because someone said it was good doesn't mean you should buy it, you should have gone and looked at it first, that is like walking into a mine field blind folded.... tread carefully and hope for the best...? You amuse me.... dont cry because you don't like the game, the game was advertised with cutscenes and there are videos all over youtube, If you researched it, you wouldn't be here saying this now. RPG's arn't your game genre, go to your action button bashing games and quit complaining because you made a mistake, no one forced you to buy the game, maybe people would have reacted differently if your orignal post wasn't so,... simplistic 'It's crap, to many cutscenes'..it was the manor of how you worded your opinion... twas hardly a review, reviewers look at pro's and cons... I just think you got the game didn't like the fact you wasted money and have started trolling, maybe you didn't want this response... or prehaps you did... think and choose words carefully.
Sorry you didn't like the game, sounds like Bioware games aren't your thing. I love story driven games and this is one of the best out there. But if all you are into is combat and don't give a rats arse for story or character interaction then I suggest to never buy a Bioware game again.

I love it, topic starter is so ridiculous that he's getting all of us lurkers to actually post
"In life we are all turds, some sink and some float but in the end we all get flushed."
I like it but taste matters and that much roleplaying and cut scenes is not something everyone like.
Taste differs, get Diablo 3 when it releases instead, I think it will be more to your liking.
Just because I or you don't like a game doesn't mean it is bad, some people like RPGs other like action games instead, it is the same as some people wants FPS and other RTS games.
If you like Diablo and hate Baldurs gate you should play Blizzard games instead of Biowares.

I second that ... RPG's are story driven , and character interaction is a huge part of role playing...
High five to lurkers!
