So i guess is nothing wrong if some beautiful day you login just to discover half (hard worked on) armor has gone, ingame gold also, ... etc. Things, eula or not, are not so simple. Besides ... there is no point in agreeing or not .... if you want to try and play ... you must agree. So I never bother reading.
Technically they are allowed to wipe your active characters anytime. Your characters belong to them. There is nothing new about AoC here. Though in a global economy, if you cannot trust the GMs to preserve your characters properly you may quit a game to move on to another one, where your progress may not be lost. So it's best for the GMs to make sure you keep your progression (even through server migrations, crashes, hacks...)
